French President Nicolas Sarkozy recently told the media that they'd likely hear about his marriage to former model turned singer Carla Bruni after it happened.

Well, now the Frech media is reporting that Sarkozy and Bruni secretly got married at City Hall in Paris this past Thursday.

      Sorry, but that's impossible. If you want to marry in France, you must make this information public at least five days before in the city hall - that's what we call "bans de mariage" in french.
      All the names of Mr Sarkozy are well known, if he had published the "bans" in the city hall of Paris someone would surely have noticed it ;-)
      If he really got married secretely then he would be in trouble with the french justice (probably only at the end of his function of President) because this marriage would not be valid.

It's a rumour again made by the french newspaper "l'Est Républicain" (The Eastern Republican); but which could be true because Carla Bruni (who wanted to go in official presidential travel in India) was forbiden to go in this country with the president if they aren't married.

And Sarkozy never intended to marry her, he fucked her after he got divorced - coz she looked like his ex wife- and the model got pregnant.       Remember, he came to the U.S. this summer for his first visit since being elected in France. His wife was not with him-some lame excuse, a cold. Shortly thereafter, their divorce was finalized.
