Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...
Maleficent!
At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!
Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!
She explains:
"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."
And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

Interesting video, which proves two completely separate things: First, Efron actually is starting to look a little more human - maybe it's just the lighting, the decent haircut, or whatever, but he seems to finally be leaving behind the Sparkle Pony androgyny so beloved by the hordes of mindless tweens, then all the better. I still don't cosider him especially "hot" but in fairness, he's not ugly either.

Second, he comes across as a empty-heeded, self-absorbed douchebag - even judging by lowered Young Hollywood standards. Credit where credit is due - he did give a nice performance in Hairspray, but that was essentially a live-action cartoon, not a role with any real substance. I can't imagine anyone under 16 actually making a decision to spend money on a movie ticket or a DVD featuring this fluffy-piffle manque.
