John McCain just won in the South Carolina Republican presidential primary!
Earlier on Saturday, he lost the caucuses in Nevada to Mitt Romney, who came in 3rd in S.C. - behind idiot supreme Mike Huckabee.
McCain will turn 72 this May. Just sayin'!

I plan on voting for hillary because obama has not convinced yet. I keep hearing him say the words change and hope like he invented them plus he's not that experienced and doesn't seem to be tough at all. I can't think of a reason to vote for him.

My husband met him while he was in the Navy, a couple of years after McCain was freed and he was still walking around with his arms bent like a dinasor's. This guy don't play games. Watch him when he is interviewed. He doesn't give fake smiles or laughs, doesn't pander and doesn't take sh*t off anyone. Plus he is a moderate republican, not a radical one like Bush. Maybe it's because of the abuse he took at the hands of the VietCong during his almost 6 years as a POW during Vietnam. They refused to treat the wounds he suffered after being shot down, which including facial injuries and a broken arm and shoulder. Cut the guy a break! He's tougher than 99.99% of the people of the fucking planet! Learn something about history and the people involved in this run for the highest office in the land before you open your mouth!

Unfortunately I don't think any candidate on either side is worth electing. The last two elections prove that our votes do not count. Both republicans and democrats played with the votes to suit them. They blamed it on problems with the voting system. They want it that way so they can play with the votes. Two elections ago, they got all the absentee ballots thrown out. Majority of absentee ballots are from military. When they threw them out, they said the military vote doesn't count. If they didn't want it that way they would have fixed the system by now. No candidate wants to do what is right for the country. We need to bring our troops home now not ten years from now. They say we have to help them. Who is going to help us? I am a vet and I totally support the troops but I do not support the political part (which has nothing to do with the troops. People try to say that if you don't support the war you don't support the troops. They say that to force you to support the war. You can support the troops and not the war. Think about it, we put troops in numerous other countries stating we are there to help them and to protect our interest. There is many overseas that don't like us being in their country. Yet if a foreign country decided to put a base in our homeland, everyone would be in an uproar and wouldn't allow that. It is ok for us to be stationed all over the world but not have other armies in ours? We can't police everyone else's country.
We are going to have soldiers there in Iraq 50 years from now dying in hopes of solving their problems. The reasons we went was false as well. No candidate we elect will bring the troops home. They may lower the number there but they won't completely bring them home because they don't want to embarrass previous standings.

The South Carolina results clearly support my statement…that is why Huckabee didn't win the primary.
