she's pretty, but her voice is awful. she sings like barney the drunk guy on the simpsons. especially on that song underneath your clothes.

Very appropriate since Garcia Marquez y Shakira son colombianos. Mientras tanto Javier Bardem es espanol, es actor impresionante con ojos del mar. Que romantico todo!

      Hey Chica:
You should definitely do a "Separated at Birth" Shakira and Mira Sorvino. I mean "identicas!" Luv U, keep on keepin' it REAL.

For anyone interested, I translated the lyrics. You should be able to sing them along in English to the Spanish song.

      Oh my love,
What wouldn’t I do for you?
      To one second have you
      Faraway from this life
      And close to me?

      Oh my love,
      Like the Magdalena river
Runs into the sand of the sea
I want to you to melt into me

There are loves that survive all of the heartaches over time
Just as the years improve a fine wine
So grows what I feel for you

There are loves that wait through the winter and flow’r again
And during the autumn nights become green again
Just like the love that I have for you

Oh, my love, do not forget the sea
That has seen me cry at night
      So many memories of you

Oh my love, don’t forget the day
      That took you away
From the sad life that is mine

There are loves that survive all of the heartaches over time
Just as the years improve a fine wine
So grows what I feel for you

There are loves that seem to die but then flower again
During the autumn nights they grow green again
Just like the love I have for you
      I for you, for you
Like the love I have for you

I liked the video, it was good to finally see that Shakira found the right blond for her hair, she took a shower, combed her hair & that she wore make up in the video which makes her look prettier; now… the song… like the lyrics, the trio music is nice but the singing is simply annoying, that way of exaggerating the tone & stuff while singing is way too much for me. I hope I can see the movie soon =)

Re: LoliT@_HonDuRaS – I dont mean to be nosy but just some info. In Mexico and Peru (and maybe other latin countries) to say cholera does mean "rage" its just a figure of speach Its like saying You make me so mad you give me cholera! but in this book the title is simple mentioning the disease not the expression. :)

one of the most poetic songwriters of our generation, all these others wish they could write lyrics half as good as Shakira's.

It is really sad that people in latin-america consider shakira as the most talented colombian, and don´t know who is Gabriel Garcia Marquez (another colombian writter)
      PD Excuse my bad english

      Re: Trisha

If you have such a strong opinion on something thats great. DONT look at it. No one is telling you to. and no one wants to see your negative comments on it either. Shakira is great, nothing else. DONT LIST UR NEGATIVE OPINIONS
