Saw it 2 weeks ago - have to say, it's campy and fun and pokes so much fun at itself it's great. Loosely follows the movie, has most of the great songs. Cheyenne and the lead actress are incredible!!! Make sure you get the seats on stage!

I' LOVE to see it! I saw the movie in the early 80's, and somebody ought to remake it. Great soundtrack, great costumes, great story. It's too bad Gene Kelley is no longer with us, because he was terrific in the movie.

First: Xanadu = Best Camp/Cult Flick of the Eighties—literally, so bad, it's good. I NEED TO SEE THIS MUSICAL!

Second: "OPRAH", it's already opened, so it's a bit late to blow all us sexual deviants to Hell. Although, we're all certainly headed there, so it's sure to be the best party ever. Re: Alison – A lot of people saw a snippit of Xanadu during the Macy Day parade and thought it looked horrible but did not understand the concept. Especially because the lead made strange faces and sang slightly off…the reason is…they are completely making fun of the movie and the 80's….you have to see the play to appreciate it!

This is the best show on Broadway EVER. My best friend and I had onstage seating and we laughed hysterically the whole time. The whole point is that it's a parody… I mean some tech guy comes out with a household fan and holds it up to Kerry Butler so her hair blows… we're not talking Shakespeare here. The most fun you will ever have on Broadway! GO SEE IT!
