The Silverchair rocker performed at the Big Day Out at Parklands on Sunday in Australia's lovely Gold Coast.

      I was thinking. You guys live in such a cool wold! I really adore America, though I'm sure it won't be that cool as on tv. I live in Holland (you know, here is the city Amsterdam :p and no, I don't do drugs) but it's really boring here. We got soms dutch program's on tv but they all suck.       yeah, so i was at the BDO when he unveiled this monstrosity of a hair helmet. look, i am a long standing silverchair fan, ive seen many a concert, have autographs, been standing next to them, etc, and theres no denying the boys are talented. HOWEVER, dans pure weirdness at the BDO on sunday was just down right laughable, and we did, we laughed at him. Dan, straighten up, please! and talk normally for Gods sake. I wasn't there, but I HIGHLY doubt it could top the last BDO performance, or many others for that matter, in the weirdness department. He's just a weird guy and that's what makes him such an amazing artist. He's not afraid to freak people out.

      I'm glad to see him back out there and having fun. He deserves it after all he's been through. And I think the hair looks pretty damn good once you get used to it.

      Re: Bridg – The whole performance at BDO he ditched his aussie accent and spoke in some strange southern drawl referring to the Gold Coast and the Gold Coaaaau. The vibe in the crowd was pretty negative. That said, they are still awesome musicians and put on a decent show. Perhaps the accent was to fit in with the jazzed up sound?

      I went to Big Day Out on the Gold Coast. Yeah ok, the hair looks good….but DJ is still fully INSANE. He talks too much between songs…and its all jibberish about shit no one cares about. Their set was like an hour long and they only played 6 songs. WTF. Anyone who was there knows what I'm talking about.
