Lohan Honored With Worst Actress Nomination!

Lindsay Lohan received not one but two Razzie awards for her "work" in last summer's bomb, I Know Who Killed Me. She played twins!

Hopefully Lindz will be there in person to pick up her award when they are handed out on February 23rd, the day before the Oscars.

The Razzies honor the worst in film, and rightfully so, Jessica Alba is competing with Lohan for Worst Actress. "Don't Call Me Latina" is nominated for her shiteous work in three films: Awake, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Good Luck Chuck.

Competing for the top prize against Alba and Lohan are Elisha Cuthbert for Captivity; Diane Keaton for Because I Said So and the chicks from the Bratz movie.

Nominated for worst actor are: Eddie Murphy for Norbit, Adam Sandler for I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, Cuba Gooding, Jr. for Daddy Day Camp, Nicolas Cage for Ghost Rider and Jim Carrey for The Number 23.

And, those vying for worst pic of the year are: I Know Who Killed Me, Norbit, Bratz, Daddy Day Camp, and I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry.

Thankfully, we haven't seen a single one of the nominated films!

My neices and nephews loved the Bratz movie, Norbit, and Daddy Day Camp. It may not have been something that I would watch but I enjoyed the fact that my neices and nephews loved them. Not for adults but children loved those movies.

Ok, so I had to watch this to give it my real objective opinion. Hey, it's no Mean Girls by far, but I don't know if it's on the level of Alba's shiteousness. Honestly she was okay through most of it, but it's frustrating b/c I KNOW she's capable of more. I also attribute the movie bombing to her not being able to appropriately market it. You know, most of America doesn't want to go see a coked up alkie's movie no matter how good of an actress she is. So hopefully this is a lesson learned in her life. I look forward to her future work, and I hope she makes herself a better person in the meantime. Give her time. I think she'll amaze you.

Oh, and btw I really enjoyed Zodiac with Jake Gyllenhall this year. Again, I think that was a marketing problem. I don't even remember ever seeing one add for it. Then I came across it in the rentals and decided to check it out. Great stuff! Goes to show it's not always the actor's fault.

it pains me to see "Awake" on there. I hate to say it but Jessica Alba was quite good in that film. The others shes nominated for, are rightly deserved, but not that film. something i hate about the razzies is that if they hate the actress/actor it dosent matter if they had a good movie that year, they say they all sucked. its quite aggravating.

Bratz Dolls shouldn't even be sold let alone have a movie made in their honor, thats just horrid… However some of these movies weren't so bad, "Because I said so" was good, and for those who like the Fantastic Four and SciFi stuff or even special effects these movies were ok… I mean I agree with the Lindsey Lohan vote as I have yet to recover from seeing Georgia Rules, but I think perhaps some of these movies should be thought to be in a children's category and thus acceptable…

I never bothered watching that lohan movie since my girls said it was boring.. however I watched Chuck&Larry last night and i liked it! It was kind of typical and cliche as storyline went, but I thought adam sandler & wutshisface werent bad at acting at all! Oh come on! Lindsay is really good in "I know who killed me" I mean, she has to be like two totally different people! And in the first part, she actually had to ACT like a virgin schoolgirl who wouldn't give it up to her cute boyfriend who keeps bringing her blue roses. I mean, that takes talent of a trained actress…if some guy were bringing me blue roses all the time, I'd totally give it up. And I mean, she like totally gets to display her other talents in this movie, like her dancing, and her ability to do a "tasteful" sex scene. I actually thought the movie was a brilliant commentary on LaLohan's actual life. You know, like she wants to be this free spirit and have sex and do coke all the time and in the movie, she's this innocent girl who just wants to be a stripper and say things like "fuck" all the time but got dragged into this perfect life just because her limbs were falling off. I mean, what if Lindsay is actually trying to tell us that she has a split personality???? Hello, "Parent Trap" anyone?!?!?! What I'm getting at, is, you know, I like totally get it! It like sooooo ART imitating LIFE!

Chuck & Larry wasn't a *really* bad movie, but it wasn't all that great. It was a bit offensive and Sandler was just going through the motions… like he was riffing the whole time and not trying very hard. The fat guy, whatever his name is, saved it; he was very sincere and likable. The movie, however, consisted of a lot of easy, lazy jokes/gags, stereotypes, and, of course, the offensive "straight people save gay people" theme.
