Redford said it like a month ago, and basically he said something like he hoped she didn't come to Sundance because she is not an artist and has nothing to offer because it's not about the limos, the redcarpet or partying. The second half of the quote was taken out of context to contrast his earlier statement about Paris. Basically saying "Paris doesnt belong here because this is a place for artists, not people who show off on the red carpet and their limos"

Sundance has so sold out, with all the sponsored lounges, free swag for celebrities (which is ridiculous in it self) and no-talent celebs and hollywood do-nothings who are there not promote anything but themselves, Sundance is no longer what it was supposed to be.
