Black people are a kind, Intelligent, Strong and Beautiful people that have overcome Four Hundred years of Hatred, Rape, and Opression to become a stictch in the very fabric that is this country. America would not be what it is today without the servitude and back breaking labor that we gave. We are more than what you see on television and if that is all that you think we are than your intelligence is highly questionable. We have done more for this country than any other people so maybe you should step back and do a little study before you judge so harshly. Dr. King would be very proud of us as a people for all that we have done in the fields of Science, Education, Politics and so many other fields. Yes we have our problems but to have been freed from centuries of hellish slavery, and then to have lived through another hundred years of Jim Crowe, then to have soldiered on through the Civil Right Movement all on our own. We have come very far and have much to be proud of. Why don't you turn off the televison and pick up a book. Maybe then you will know what black people truly are!
