The American Idol judge has revealed that he's donating $180 million to charity when he dies.
Cowell wants to leave the bulk of his money to children's and animal causes. "Mum asked, ‘Have you ever made a will?’ I said, ‘Thanks a lot!’. But it got me thinking," he explained.

After any possible future little Cowell's inheritances, no doubt, or any to other struggling immediate family and their children which ensures continuation of the line? Simon is a very pragmatic guy. Giving to children's and animal's causes would be a wonderful legacy on his part. Given to the right charities, all that dough could do a world of good. I hope it won't happen for a very long time.

Does Simon Cowell ONLY have $180 million to give? The Sun says he's worth $200 million (I don't believe that. Does the taxman?) … A few months back he was the second highest paid TV personality after Oprah. Sounds like a publicity stunt, or a stupid remark. Perhaps he realises that the American Idol and X-Factor days are winding down. Or did he buy stock in Northern Rock?

I spent some time around Simon a few months ago when he visited the SOVA Food Pantry as part of American Idol. I volunteer there on Sunday's. He could not have been nicer to everyone. Very friendly. Had his picture taken with anyone who asked. Honestly,

i respect anyone who cares for the welfare of animals. animals can't convey their feelings, akin to human babies. they have blood, tissue, habits, yet we see them as unimportant objects that we can do with whatever we please. well, here's two rules: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The animals aren't doing anything to hurt us, why do back? And secondly, unless you can create it, you have no right to destroy it. make a house of cards, and break it down, you can rebuild it. Kill a deer, you can NEVER make one to replace it. And i mean, take materials and craft it. Therefore, with no rights, you have no right to abuse, mistreat, neglect, cause suffering to, or kill animals. They just don't have a human voice with which to pass an Act which protects them. Only we can do that and be responsible for their welfare.
