At Least She Showed Up!
Britney Spears showed up to her deposition on Monday almost an hour late, Kevin Federline's lawyer tells People.
"She was about 50 minutes late," says K-Fed attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan. "After an hour I would have been over it. I was prepared to terminate had she not showed at that time."
Shit, even giving her 50 minutes is too much leeway!
A normal personal wouldn't be given as many chances as Spears has.
She doesn't care enough about her kids to show up on time? Or EARLY!
Hopefully Kaplan will be stricter with Brit Brit in the future. The mother of two had missed her deposition countless times over the last few months. On Monday she was only grilled for two hours.
K-Fed's lawyer expects to call back Unfitney in more than once.
Kaplan says there will be further depositions in the unspecified future, claiming that he has only worked through "2 percent" of his questions. "There is a lot of work to be done," he says.
A LOT more work! And it begins tomorrow when Spears' attorneys have requested an emergency hearing to ask for "monitored visitation in a therapeutic setting."

Hello..think about how hard it is for her to get anywhere. 50 minutes late is not that bad considering the chaos she is forced to experience every time she steps foot out her door.
Its very hard to judge someone else life. Her actions show that she does not care, but that doesnt mean that she really doesnt. I would hate to see when one of your on down on your luck and everyday someone is putting you down. Its very easy to say get help when you obviously dont know the person state of mind. My friends are lawyers in children and family cases and parents are given years to shape up…they can not show up to court for months and still get their kids back. If a normal person missed court there would be a warrant issued for their arrest, however the police wait until the perp returns to them for a traffic violation etc. Their liscence is also suspended. Usually the only thing that works is making someone suffer from their tardiness—-if Britney missed a visitation b/c of her tardiness, or if she lost a paycheck,, or if she spent a night in jail, then her sorry ass would be on time. If she missed a photo op, or a Starbucks, or a cigarette, or a toilet break, or a chance to pump her gas or talk British, I'll bet she would be EARLY.

You're right if I was supposed to be in court here in my hometown and I was 50 minutes late, even 10 minutes, that would be it. But for some reason they keep giving Brit chance after chance. The only reason I can think of ( and even this is far fetched) is that they know she's crazy, and maybe they're giving her special advanteges because of that. But even still that would never work for a regular person. And as for seeing her kids, I do feel sorry for the kids cuz I'm sure they miss their mom, but if Brit does'nt care enough to show up on time or even show up at all she does'nt deserve that privelege.

I loved Britney about five years ago, but I have kids and have no sympathy for her. She could have all the help (i.e., maids, nannies, day care, etc.) she needs. She just had to spend a little time with her kids. Being a mom is hard, but I don't think she has a clue HOW hard it can be. When she's worried about putting food on the table, she can explain why it's OK not to show up for a simple hearing. She's a selfish cow who doesn't derserve her fame. Madonna was Britney's age at the height of her career and she didn't lose her mind. Britney could have been a legend and instead she'll end up a has been.
