Parade's Jeanne Wolf talked to Sarah Michelle Gellar about her new flick, The Air I Breathe, and she also dished on the Britney drama!
“It’s not something to joke about,” Gellar says of the continuing saga engulfing Brit Brit's life. “I’ve met Britney a few times and seen her perform. I think what has happened to her is heart-wrenching. It’s really sad. Honestly, without sounding corny, it gives you a sorrowful experience when you realize how lonely and how isolated these girls must be. At least that’s the insight that I got.”
Sad indeed.

What I don't understand is how Perez has no problem letting Sarah Michelle Gellar speak her mind when asked about Britney but when Clay Aiken does it he says "DON'T FEED IT, DON'T RESPOND!" You only say that because you don't like Clay Aiken or you just feel its okay for one person to say something about Britney but not the other. This just goes to show you how Perez only likes certain people, many that he really shouldn't like, and he dumps on a lot of other people that have never done anything to anyone. He likes to bring peoples weakneses to light to make himself feel better. I hope he's found dead somewhere, I really do.

She's so right on. It's sad that even I have been caught up in the Britney madness. I wish I wasn't so wrapped up in hearing about her - but I guess, every day she shocks us with her bahavior. I am definitely rooting for Brit. I don't thinks he needs to get back in the music biz - she clearly needs to have her own time and own life, and actually LIVE for once. I hope she gives herself the opportunity to do that.

The journalist most likely asked Gellar to weigh in on Spears because Gellar plays a tragic, paparazzi-hounded pop star in the film she's promoting, The Air I Breathe.

I think that Sarah's comments show someone who is capable of weighing her words, and her behavior shows someone who is capable of weigning her actions. I loves me some SMG
Britney could do with putting some more thought into her (oddly english accented) words (unexplainable) actions. If she has a mental issue she may want to look into that - I think it's better that she knows so she can learn how to deal.
But if the papparazzi is the problem then maybe she should leave L.A. for a while = there a convertables to drive around in and starbuck in every industrialized city in the world.
I love Britney and think Blackout is a superb, catchy record that is her most grown-up and aware and best album ever. There was no reason that even at her present size and with her 'equilibrium' problems that more attention could not be focused on her job than her personal life- but then again this isn't all up to her.
