Roseanne Attacks Obama and Oprah - Again!

She's at it again!
'80s sitcom star Roseanne has posted another shortsighted tirade on her blog.
This time, she says:
"oprah winfrey
has refused to do a show with the FIRST WOMAN candidate for President who has EVER won a primary election, in the history of the United States of America. I saw Hilary on the ridiculous tyra banks' show, and fumed. Hilary deserves to have been able to address the huge female demographic that Oprah's billions came from. How very disgusting, and how very very telling!! Maybe if Hilary was discussing her fat thighs Oprah would have had her on. Oprah doesn't really seem to respect the intelligence of her audience at all. Obama slaps the faces of his supporters with his traitorous praise of ronald reagan, the man who singlehandedly destroyed the working people, the economy, and the mental health safety net in this country, and told inner city kids that ketchup was a vegetable. I pray for the speedy failure of his divisive anti-feminist campaign. Oprah COULD HAVE delivered her viewers an audience with the most powerful and successful woman in American politics since Eleanor Roosevelt, and the only democratic candidate who has a prayer of winning this election at the most crucial time there has ever been in this country. I believe its she and David Geffen's plan to elect fellow billionaire Romney. This country's not going to elect a democrat who speaks well of republicans and reagan, like Barack Hussein Obama does. Wake Up! Diss-ing women's century-old fight for political representation of their voice makes me SICK!!! "

Im sorry but i do kind of agree w/ Roseann. There is nothing wrong w/ Oprah supporting Obama but if shes really a strong woman and does want her target audience to be educated and strong as she says then why not have Hilary on the show. She is supposed ot be a professional TV personality. As a professional you give your audience a chance to decide who THEy believe will be the best candidate to represent their country. She should be fair and not let her opinion influence that of her audience.

I have to agree with her. Whether or not Oprah supports Hilary shouldn't affect the decision of putting her on the show so that the AUDIENCE can hear what she has to say and the audience should have the right to choose who they prefer.

Yes, I can't believe I'm saying this -I AGREE WITH ROSEANNE! Oprah supports blacks no matter what (look at the black doc she dubbed "Belverly Hills Best Plastic Surgeon") I was 100% Obama, but am moving closer to the Hilary camp daily. Oprah's support of Obama didn't matter much anyway, but for all Oprah's "girl power" she is forgetting the historic moment in women's political history that is happening now.

Roseanne is wrong. Why would Oprah allow Hillary on her show when the candidate she is supporting is Obama ? That doesn't make sense, how many people do you see supporting 2 candidates at once ? none. Oprah has chosen who she wants to support and thus she is supporting him, there is nothing wrong with that.

I think Roseanne is right. Hilary IS the most important female political figure in American politics since Eleanore Roosevelt. Oprah can support Obama, but as a feminist she should at least acknowledge Hilary and let her come on the show.
