Lily Allen had been in seclusion since the devastating news of her miscarriage was made public last week.

But, with the singer set to return to work this week, Lily stepped out on Tuesday for the first time.

Allen and her DJ boyfriend, Ed Simons, were seen shopping at a West London boutique (above). In one picture Lily and Ed share a tender moment and a little kiss.

      I feel for her. I have had 3 miscarriages, 2 in the last 7 months. They are very difficult, physically, emotionally and hormonally, to deal with. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I can't imagine having to go through it with the whole world watching and judging. I pray for all women that go through it.

Its really sad and very depressing..ive had one before at almost three months! and its not to joke about it a very emotionally painful and in some cases phyiscally painful things to have to deal with. Give Lily a break..if she wouldnt have wanted to come back out for another 4 months…who cares! Give her time for herself!

      Sad that certain people were raised to show no empathy towards people going through tough times. Personally, i find it difficult to feel for someone that i don't even know, however i find it discusting that some people would say that she deserved to miscarry her baby!? Also to the people saying that it was caffeine, its not the first time that 'experts' have claimed that something you eat/drink will cause problems during pregnancy and it won't be the last. Most women drink coffee when they are pregnant, especially those who have hectic lifestyles such as Lily.

She had a miscarriage because: 1. she smokes to damn much, and continued after she found out she was pregnant! 2. she drinks to much coffee(LOOK AT THE CUP IN HER HAND)! If you are pregnant you shouldn't be doing those things. 3 She has been with the father for what 3 fucking weeks?! I could care less really and usually I feel compassion for people but not her.

      I mean it sucks that, that happend but wasn't she smoking cigarettes while pregnant? Maybe next time she will pick up a generic text book from…I don't know, ANY high school in the world and read up on smoking while pregnant…or she can simply look down at her package of cigarettes and read the Surgeon Generals warning.

      I for one applaud Lily Allen for making public her miscarriage. It is very common, but not talked about much because people usually don't announce their pregnancy until they are 3 months along, when the risk of miscarriage is reduced exponentially. My prayers are with her at this difficult time.
