Illegal Drugs Found In Ledger's Apartment!!! Not Just Pills!!!!!!

His death may not have been a suicide, but drugs - not just sleeping pills - more likely than not also played a part in the untimely passing of Heath Ledger.
WCBS in New York is reporting that drug packets were found inside the actor's SoHo Apartment, as well as a $20 bill with narcotic residue.
Several drug packets containing an unknown substance were found listed on the official police report from the scene.
It is possible that these items didn't belong to Ledger or that he didn't ingest them on the day of his death, but several reports have stated that Heath had been battling sobriety recently.
In addition to the unknown substances, several bottles of prescription meds were discovered in Ledger's apartment, including bottles of the prescription anxiety drugs Valium and Zoloft, along with the prescription sleeping medication Ambien.
This might be another Anna Nicole Smith.
Kids, drugs and abusing prescription meds are bad. Don't do them! BUT, if you are, and you shouldn't, then don't mix them!!!

I was watching the "Dark Knight" trailer this morning and couldn't help but notice how similar Heath Ledger's character resembles Brandon Lee's character in "The Crow". Both actors died during or shortly after playing these roles and both were 28 years old. Anyone else notice this?

While the circumstances of their deaths are different, does anyone else find it eery that both Brandon Lee and Heath Ledger died at the age of 28 and, while speculatively in the case of Heath, as the result of the face painted, dark movie characters roles they were playing that look very, very similar?
Brandon was killed on the set of the Crow and Heath reportedly had fallen in to a depression and psychosis brought on by internalizing his Joker character which led to his need for pills that led to his accidental death (again speculation).
Look at pics of Brandon as the Crow and Heath as the Joker…Spooky how close they resemble one another. Even their facial structure and hair.
A real trajedy to lose these young men. Obviously, in the case of Heath, one was a very respected and accomplished actor while Brandon was just trying to make a name for himself.

It's looking more and more that he died from an overdose of drugs or some bad combination of prescription and illegal drugs. It's always sad to see someone with such a promising future to die at a young age. Maybe he is in a better place now out of the pressure of a cruel world where the more you have the bigger price you have to pay to live.

"Drugs"…so what? Why the hype? Shouldn't we be asking whether there's any connection between the housekeeper and the massage therapyst? Have we heard the "911" call reporting the tragedy? Was there any sign of a struggle or was his a peaceful death. He could have suffered from sleep apnea and that could explain why the sheets were all messed up, if they were. Did they have to break open the bedroom door? These are questions that can be answered and should be reported by Perez.

ps: they knew there were drugs beside of his body yesterday so what in the fuck makes this breaking news? Different drug? Big shit. We know it was an overdose, who really cares. The coronor reports was inconclusive so far which means it wasn't a huge overdose of anything. If they find something, it'll most likely be traces of drugs, not a huge amount.

I am very sad about the news of Heath's passing and, perhaps this time, you could refrain from publishing speculation. My family just went through the chaos of a tragic and public death and the media circus and the uncertainty can be atrocious. Show some dignity with respect to this case. Your readers will appreciate a change of style on your reporting this untimely death. Heath was a true artist, his highly sensitive nature is probably to blame for his demise. Please repsect him, he is not Britney Spears.
So unbelievably tragic, but the best thing the media can do is to allow his family to grieve in peace. Not that they have done this to Ledger's family, but it's disgusting when they lurk outside family homes to get a story. I think this is one of those cases where it was so sudden and so unexpected that his family must be numb with shock, and flashing paparazzi bulbs are hardly helpful when coming to terms with the loss of a loved one. I hope the media gives them time for this.

I'm a news junkie and have heard none of this. There weren't pills strewn around the room and there's even conflicting reports as to where he was found, in the bed or on the floor. OMFG this is retarded. VALIUM is often prescribed with ZOLOFT. Zoloft is taken DAILY. VALIUM is taken during acute panic attacks which by the way feel the same as a heart attack. So that is first. AMBIEN is almost ALWAYS prescribed with BOTH Zoloft and an acute (immediate response) anti anxiety because MANY people with ANXIETY also suffer from INSOMNIA. IF the initial panel comes up NEGATIVE they have to start running tissue samples and full blood panels to establish if there ARE ANY SUBSTANCES AT ALL. Thats when they run them all. THEY WILL ALSO begin to look at an illness and virus which TAKES WEEKS. Bacteria takes DAYS to grow. And finally disection of organ tissue will occur and be evaluated. SO actually, the failure to establish a DRUG OD off the preliminary would make anyone with an EDUCATION and who does research move AWAY from the idea of a DRUG OD. Assholes need to learn to research.
