This makes my heart break and cry. I don't understand this at all. I hope his baby is doing good, her momma needs to give her 3 million times the love now that her daddy isn't able to. I don't believe it was intentional, but he was so fragile. He's amazing, and will go down in history, this is so melancholy, i hope his family is doing okay and healing. So now everyone knows the "truth", just stop, and leave him and his family alone to rest.

Such a shame that someone so young didn't get help for his "demons". So goes the fate of our world. Sometimes we put ourselves last and put everyone first and this is what can happen. Let this be a hard lesson for all those who fight their "demons". Get help before it's to late and put your needs first. Such a tragic loss.

BTW Nobody mentions Cassanova.. Heath was great in that movie, my daughter and I had just sat and watched it again Monday night. He will be missed, I looked forward to seeing the work he would do as he aged and grew in his craft. Very sad. Bless his family.

I cannot even begin to explain how I feel about this. I know he was a celebrity, I know I didn't know him personally, I know just last week another actor died, but I liked Heath Ledger, I wasn't his number one fan but I liked him. This has really hit me hard and I feel so silly it has. I've been thinking about it all day and it seems so unreal. I am definitely in mourning. I can't imagine how his family feels.

Let's look at the big picture (without slinging mud/gossip): devastated young Michelle will have to spend a lifetime explaining to her daughter why/how/when/where she lost her dad. Poor Matilda will have to hear everyone's assumptions on how Heath led his life, and then cash in on his story. This happens all over the world and yet his family will live out this nightmare under the microscope. As a mom, I cannot imagine the conversation in which I try to explain to my child that daddy is never coming home. So tragic.

I love the way the magazines are implying that he died of a drug overdose we don't know what killed him and everyone keeps posting any rumor they hear. I'm going to wait for word from the Medical Examiner for all we know this could be a accidental prescription interaction. I had a friend that passed away that way.
Most of us have some bad habits let he who is without sin cast the first stone. He was a great actor and should be remembered for who he was a great talent and an all around great person. Rest In Peace Heath.

What a tragic loss. Heath Ledger was a phenomenal actor and didn't get caught up in the "celebrity" of his career. He was humble, a wonderful father and a truly gifted actor. My heart goes out to his daughter, his family and friends.
