I'm still really upset about this - he was my favourite.
Part of me really hopes that it was an overdose and not an intentional suicide. I can't imagine him being so selfish and taking his own life. This horrible episode should serve as a reminder to all these celebrities with drug abuse issues that we are all blood and bones. Life is fragile and no one is immortal.

"Drawn to excess" fuck off….if ANYONE famous died suddenly like this the media would try and work some fantasy story into it…..Overdose doesnt neccessarily mean it was intentional..it was a tragic accident…a combo of pneumonia (ie low immune system) and a few too many sleeping pills. Stop trying to turn it into some sordid story. Accidents happen…. imagine his poor family knowing that people are reading this trash and thinking that their son was suicidal and messed up. I truly loved him as a person and as an actor. There was something genuine in his eyes. when i heard this i was devastated! Rest in Peace! We all loved him as you can all tell from all these comments. This really may be one of this biggest losses hollywood will every encounter. My heart goes out to his family and beautiful Matlida.
I don't understand why people (especially celebs) do drugs - especially when you're a parent!! This is really upsetting. Now his little girl will grow up without a dad because he was selfish. This whole thing is sad but he was an adult and it was selfish of him to do drugs knowing the harm they can do to him; and how his child could wind up growing up with no memory of him.
Helena Christensen is a toxic, narcissistic, unhappy soul in the body of a goddess. She has a history of sleeping w/OPP & sucking them in with drugs + kinky sex. Sad that Heath got caught in her web & wouldn't be surprised if she was his hookup for drugs.

dont say it was drugs seeing as how it was said that it was sleeping pills, accedental and an autopsy wasnt even completed untill people started spreading rumers about it being drugs. The sleeping pills were found scatered around his body, that was the only evidence that might make someone suspect it was drugs untill someone actually comes out and proves it (A RELIABLE SOURCE) i dont think its wise to talk about it being drugs, only because he did have a family, friends , and a respectable life, no need trashing it. He was a good man.
Someone with super talent, such at Heath Ledger, deserve to get the front pages of magazines when they die. Only fat gay gossipers get buried in the back pages where most people don't look and nobody cares.
