Michelle's Dad Speaks Out

heath_ledger_02_wenn514984.jpg

Heath Ledger's family has released their statement on the actor's tragic death.

Now, Michelle Wiliams's father, Larry Williams, is speaking out as well.

He says:

"I think Tennyson got it right in the poem when he described someone as having died at a young age but burning the candles at both ends, and oh what a beautiful flame he made, that was Heath, what a beautiful flame he made and a great talent. My heart goes out to everyone in his family and my family. The saddest thing is his daughter whom he just loved dearly."

THis story is so depressing and sad. I have been a bit caught up in it all day. I want to move on and get some happy upbeat news in my head before I get really drained. I think it is just so sad- he didn't seem like a junkie or a jerk and I have a daughter his daughter's age. I couldn't imagine her growing up w/o her daddy.

      This just breaks my heart.
Because Heath Ledger wasn't just another pretty face-
He wasn't just another shallow celebrity.
He brought that special "something" to a film.
He had spirit. He had…. HEART.
Though I never even knew him
I will miss him being on the planet.
      Rest in Peace…

I'm still in shock! I can't believe Heath is gone. He was such a talented actor and so down to earth. My heart goes out to his family. The saddest thing is him leaving his little girl behind, Matilda Rose.

And SHAME on all of the people who are saying bad things about Heath. That is so horrible. These people have no hearts at all.

Everyone, please keep Heath and his family in your prayers.

      It casts a lovely night
