Rudy Giuliani has slipped to third place in Florida with less than a week to go for that state's primary, according to a new poll from the Miami Herald.
The former NYC mayor had been campaigning heavily in that state while ignoring the other Republican primaries and caucuses.
If he doesn't win in Florida, Giuliani's presidential bid is pretty much OVER!

Polls are conducted over land line phones, but likely Rudy voters are the ones who have land lines. I'd say the polls are accurate regarding him. I wouldn't think they're accurate AT ALL when it comes to Ron Paul. They're not even mentioning him, but he's able to turn out hundreds of supporters everytime he comes to FL, and there are Ron Paul signs EVERYWHERE. I would not be surprised to see him place solidly in the top three.

Whatever made that old fool think that the people in Florida would vote for him? They are mainly older people that have retired there after working hard to afford it and are not about to turn America over to that dirty old man. Tom- I 100% agree. I live in Florida, have a cell phone but no land line, and I already voted for Rudy(we have early voting). I don't find these polls to be accurate at all whatsoever, and hasn't that already been proven in the primaries?

There is no "strategy" to focus solely on Florida; he says that to make his pathetic showings in other states look calculated ("no, no, I MEANT to lose those states!"). The guy spent more time and money in New Hampshire than anybody but Mitt Romney and spent a ton of money in Iowa as well. When he came up with his Florida "strategy" he was polling well there… had he been polling then like he is now, I guarantee we never would have heard of any "Florida strategy." The guy is a pathetic, egomaniac loser who has benefited from this abstract sense of his performance on 9/11, when, by all objective measures, he was a complete disaster on that day. As district attorney, he courageously took on the mob, successfully fought government corruption, and prosecuted white-collar criminals. As mayor, he turned New York City from a crime-ridden sewer to one of the safest big cities in the world. He's tough on crime, tough on terror, strong on the economy and education. On 9/11, he showed incredible leadership in keeping things as calm and safe as possible while taking swift, decisive action to restore the city to fully functional, while keeping up morale. He is fiscally conservative, meaning he believes that we are better stewards of our own money than the government is, while he's socially moderate, supporting a woman's right to choose and civil unions. Go, Rudy!

The Islamic fundamentalist threat is the challenge of our time, and we need a president who is not going to appease our enemies, but confront them before they perpetrate an attack that makes 9/11 look like child's play. Giuliani is the best candidate in the field to ensure America's safety as well as the one most likely to implement real and positive change.

Actually, the great majority and educated, well-traveled people are Democrats, along with the working men and women of the United States and idealistic young people. There are of course also some well-meaning Republicans, although the party has taken on a tarnish in recent years and their viable candidates are all less than ideal.
And Britney Spears, who you mention, is the celebrity who made the comment, "I think we should just trust our President [Bush]" when asked about current events in 2003.
