Yes, it's about the family right now. It shouldn't be about anything else. This statement is to the point, and shows that she is more focused on his family and how the are dealing, rather then her relationship with Heath.

Why is everyone bitching?? This has got to be an EXTREMELY upsetting time for MK and everyone who knew him. She doesn't owe anyone an explanation, and for someone who is usually very private and avoids talking to the media, we're lucky that she said anything at all. Her response is more than appropriate.

Mary-Kate has the best publicist in Hollywood. This simple statement made to Perez says it all. There's no sense of trying to tap in on the drama or minimize her role in this nightmare. This shows real class as we expect from Hollywood royalty. MKO has been totally in touch with the seriousness of this matter.
