Heath Ledger's friends and loves ones gathered at a private viewing in New York City on Friday.

Unfortunately for them, their private moment of grieving was tainted by hordes of paparazzi and mainstream media outside the funeral home.

The actor's body is now on it's way back to Australia.

Ledger is expected to be buried in his hometown of Perth.

Here's the thing…I'm NOT saying that the photogs there is right, but some people are curious-some need a way to say goodbye. We may have not known him personally, but we are the ones who made him famous. I personally feel that it is wrong that there isn't a memorial service for him of some sort- I'm not saying his body has to be there. But! Maybe some of this crap would be cut out if a service was held for the people who did make him famous. Let's face it, if we wern't movie goers, he wouldn't be famous. Yes his family needs to have privacy at this time, but when you decise to be famous, you are allowing your life to be an open book. All I'm saying is that I don't blame the family for wanting their own private service becuse some sicko would probably take pictures of his body, but have some memorial service for the public!!!

Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!

Gurl is going to ROCK this! Don't U think?
