Digging Up Dirt
This explosive article in the Sunday Mail claims that Michelle Williams broke up with Heath Ledger because of his drug abuse.
A member of the actor's "inner circle" claims that Heath was using heroin and cocaine, in addition to pills, and that his drug problem spiraled out of control recently because he thought his ex, Michelle, was gonna request full custody of their daughter, Matilda.
The article also offers up a theory on what led to Ledger's death.
According to his pal, "He was not the type to have killed himself. The way I hear it, he went out the night before, he was doing cocaine, he wasn't able to sleep, and the investigators think he woke up, didn't remember taking sleeping pills and then took what accidentally was an overdose."
We don't know what to make of it all.
Thankfully, the toxicology results will be in within the next few weeks and that should bring some closure to all.

It's hard to not be curious about Heath's death - he was so well liked and so young that it was very shocking. There is nothing worse for the male body than lrepeat and systematic lack of sleep. Your nervous system simply cannot handle it. You will eventually develop sleep apnea, and can literally die from reflux choking, heart failure, etc.. Add alchohol, let alone cocaine, or other stimulants to the mix, and you are a sure fire candidate for rock star death. There is nothing normal to indulging in even cigarettes and alchohol on a regular basis. Also, you can tell Heath worked out like a fiend. Strenuous exercise, a diet lacking basic animal fats and oils (he went shopping on the day of his death, with a bag full of mostly fruits and vegetables - again, healthy diet for an active male always includes meats and some good fats) your heart will pay the price. Long distance runners and endurance athletes that go on restrictive diets often develop heart issues. SLEEP, SLEEP, good, old fashioned, non-drug (nicotine and alchohol included) SLEEP, with regular aerobic exercise is the key to male health. Believe me, Im a former avid exerciser/alchoholic mild smoker, with bad diet and I almost killed myself. Pay attention, men. Take care of yourself. Anyone using sleeping pills for anything is flirting with death!

I think as a society we need to respect him and his family and let them morn in peace and quiet instead of speculating whether or not he used drugs.
