Patrick Dempsey is making the most of his time off from Grey's Anatomy.

Indulging in his race car hobby, the actor suited up and was spotted in the pits for the Fresh From Florida 200 Koni Challange Series at Daytona International Speedway on Friday in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Just be careful there, McDreamy.

    I believe homosexuality is a chemical imbalance within the brain coupled with environmental factors and feelings of insecurity. Homosexuals should be studied, because it isnt natural to be born gay. I am not a bigot, I actually have gay relatives and friends. I just believe homosexuality is not normal. I do not advocate it or support it, but at the same time I will never deliberately be mean to a homosexual. Please Perez, get help and look inside yourself. You are gay because of multiple reasons, you just need to take this challenge and figure out why. I wish you luck - and maybe one day you can find peace.

    My boyfriend races in this series and raced with Dempsey. He is really cool at the races and does not try to steal the limelight. Pretty down to earth guy. I've met him a few times. :-)
