Quote Of The Day

Filed under: Drugs > Quote of the Day > Sylvester Stallone

sylvester-stallone-holds-um.jpg

“HGH (human growth hormone) is nothing. Anyone who calls it a steroid is grossly misinformed. Testosterone to me is so important for a sense of well-being when you get older. Everyone over 40 years old would be wise to investigate it because it increases the quality of your life. Mark my words. In 10 years it will be over the counter.”

- Sylvester Stallone tells the new issue of Time

I know Im going to be persuing BioIdentical Hormone Replacement after Im 35. Suzanne Somers has been talking about this stuff for the last decade, shes a true inovator. Sly is right too. HGH is a natural hormone your body produces. What you need to get is your Hormone Panel read to see what hormones are low & which are fine. Then you replace the ones that you are defficient. No controvercy here. Its just the Pharmacutecual Companys dont want you knowing about this, they want you buying their medicines, you know the ones with all the warnings becasue your body rejects these foreign drugs.

  60. z says – reply to this

    60

He's right in that hgh is not an anabolic steroid and nowhere near as dangerous a substance, there has been some hysteria over it because of the sports connection but I can't see any reason to ban it for people in a non competitive enviroment (and frankly I don't care what athletes do either, roll models my ass) And testosterone PROPERLY dispenced at PROPER THERAPUTIC DOSES is not a terrible thing either. For the record I'd never touch any of that shit myself but people have a right to do as they will with their own bodies.

  61. Sly = Low I.Q. says – reply to this

    61

What a dum dum. I don't think wearing your "fake" glasses to make yourself look smart is going to work again Sly… this is toooo stupid. Look up all the long term effects of this drug. What an idiot!!!!

    63

I wish he would go away already, who wants to looks at his lop-sided fug face any more? Besides, you know what steroids do to your winkie if you take them for a long time? That's right, winkie gets small and no workie to good. Good thing he has fame & money or he wouldn't get any. I heard he is bad in bed. I bet he dyes his pubes too.

  64. grow a brain says – reply to this

    64

With the exception of #56 and #62, all you dumbasses need a science lesson on HGH. Quit running your mouths unless you actually know what you are talking about.

  65. sales says – reply to this

    65

From the journal of Medical Science:
Side effects in adults may include extreme aggression, malaise, dry mouth.
Prolonged GH exposure thickens the bones of the jaw, fingers and toes. Resulting heaviness of the jaw and increased thickness of digits is referred to as acromegaly.
Accompanying problems can include pressure on nerves (e.g., carpal tunnel syndrome), muscle weakness, insulin resistance or even a rare form of type 2 diabetes, and reduced sexual function.

  66. tara says – reply to this

    66

It's NOTHING? Growth hormone changed my entire life! I would have been a 4'5" adult without it. Way to sound like a twat, Stallone!

  67. brooklyn lillies says – reply to this

  68. HGH free Grandpa says – reply to this

    68

How did all the previous generations grow to be over 80/90 + without hgh. Sly is an idiot and so are the people saying it's a good idea. He has been hit in the head with too many punches. When he needs a wheelchair after his joints etc give out we can all laugh, although I am already laughing at another ACTOR with no educational background giving life advice. Sly and Tom cruise have a combined IQ of a pencil eraser. Adriannnnnnnn!

  69. Shakespere says – reply to this

  71. PEREZ COMM ENTORS ARE FUCK%NG IDIOTS says – reply to this

    71

He's exactly right. You do much more damage to your body with the legal substances cigarettes, alcohol and fast food. Women have plastic stuffed in their chest, poison injected in their face and lie in a bed that COOKS you in all in the sake of vanity. So what if a man wants to take hormones as he ages to look and feal better. I don't even know why I am explaining this to a peanut gallery of 14-23 year olds who all probably still live at home and live off mommy and daddy. Just do society a favor and kill yourselves, you to Perez. Useless…

    73

he's right in that men over 40 should look into hgh

  74. TB says – reply to this

    74

Re: A day in the life of – lol "bullshit knowledge"? Go do the research, they did a test in texas with HGH on men over 40 who took it and they all had increases in healthy weight gain, strength, & body repair. They looked almost 20 years younger. It helps with everything. Your testosterone levels deplete as you get older and significantly deplete over the age of 35. Why do you think we get old and shrivel up? Peoples mentality are fucking retarded, so we can sell prescription meds over the counter that slowly mess peoples lives up and kill them and give men sex changes but they can't give us HGH that helps repair our bodies to like when we were younger? Give your head a shake.

  75. richard03 says – reply to this

Re: HGH free GrandpaRe: HGH free Grandpa – Wtf are you talking about?.. Take a look at this:

Humans by Era, Average Lifespan (in years)

    Classical Greece, 28
    Classical Rome, 28
    Medieval England, 33
    1800's End of 19th Century, 37
    1900's Early 20th Century, 50
    1940's Circa 1940, 65
    Current (in the West), 77-81

We are living longer today because there are steroids in everything we eat. They give even chickens and cows steroids so they grow faster and get more meat on them. And if you are talking about like a thousand years ago, that is because we were closer to perfection back then *(adam and eve times).. if you believe in the bible. People are even taller and bigger now than they were in past years. Hmmm, I wonder why? Wow you guys are so smart aren't you.

    79

People like Sly and Suzanne Somers are pioneers. Either they will be wrong about hormones and steroid replacement therapy or they will be right. Either way I look forward to this new frontier in science because by the time I'm over 50 we will likely have an answer. To think, many people could experience an improved quality of life by simply balancing their hormone levels. For their sakes I hope they are right.

he's right. men can go through their own version of menopause and they don't produce enough testosterone on their own so they need to get a prescription. makes a big difference as to how bitchy and miserable they act

Are you reading that off the back of your HGH bottle you got at the liquor store? I am sure living l;onger does not have anything to do with advances in disease detection, advances in surgery, and antibiotics. Not to mention Vaccines, better food preparation & storage, and waste removal. Have you graduated High Schoool?

Re: Silly Dum Dum – Can you read? I said steroids are in most of our foods, meaning meats etc. Most livestock is injected or fed growth hormones to fatten them up. This serves two purposes, to receive a better price on the animal when it is sold, and to allow larger quantities of meat per animal. These 'additives' continue to be present in our food once it is processed and served, although maybe not in such a high concentration as when the animal was still alive. That is not the complete reason (obviously) to why we are living longer. If I was to elaborate I could probably fill this page with information to reasons why we are living longer. Do you always take things completely out of context? I didn't say it is the "only reason". If you were to take a proper dosage of HGH you would most certainly live a longer "healthier" life. If it was just one thing that was making us live longer i'm sure we would have found the answer to everlasting life by now. Are you sure you graduated high school? Please read a little closer next time before replying.

Re: TB – Taking human growth hormone can cause a number of side effects, including:

    premature balding or hair loss
    dizziness
mood swings, including anger, aggression, and depression
seeing or hearing things that aren't there (hallucinations)
extreme feelings of mistrust or fear (paranoia)
    problems sleeping
    nausea and vomiting
    trembling
high blood pressure that can damage the heart or blood vessels over time
    aching joints
greater chance of injuring muscles and tendons
jaundice or yellowing of the skin; liver damage
    urinary problems
    shortening of final adult height
increased risk of developing heart disease, stroke, and some types of cancer
Specific risks for girls associated with anabolic steroids include:

    increased facial hair growth
development of masculine traits, such as deepening of the voice, and loss of feminine body characteristics, such as shrinking of the breasts
    enlargement of the clitoris
    menstrual cycle changes
    Specific risks for guys include:

testicular shrinkage - You & Sly?
    pain when urinating
    breast development
impotence (inability to get an erection)
    sterility (inability to have children)
Steroids can also have serious psychological side effects. Some users become aggressive or combative, developing "roid rage" — extreme, uncontrolled bouts of anger caused by long-term steroid use -You?

Re: Furbie – Wow, bravo, wonderful copy and paste from google. You kids are collectively the dumbest group of people I have seen in a LONG time. These substances are legal and over the counter in 90% of the world. But of course the collection of Americas finest on this "web site" would not know that, but I'm sure you all know what time of day brit brit farts. And by the way, HGH doesn't shrink your penis, just the opposite. Read the Playboy interview of Jose Conseco's ex wife, she claimed a few inches were gained while he was on "roids" and HGH. I'm sure I already know the lame comeback to the last statement.

  99. TB says – reply to this

    99

Re: Furbie – Yes it "may" cause those affects. So does 99.9% of over the counter meds. The only difference is the majority of those meds have only temporary "good" effects, so therfore you have to keep taking them, leading to addiction and many more problems. You don't have to take HGH forever, but it does help with your physical health. Also those side effects only apply to "some" people. Roid rages occur when taking a stupid ammount of HGH or steroids. There is so much myth in all of this. The pharmacists do not want you knowing about this because it would put a shit load of there products off the shelves.
