He was hospitalized this past week with pneumonia.

Brando was 49.

Rest in Peace Christian. Btw Christian murdered his sister's boyfriend Dag Drollet because Dag had BEATEN HER UP! After he went to prison, his life went straight to hell. Marlon Brando was a great actor, but a failure as a father. That's the truth. Let's forgive this poor guy. What a terrible, waste of a life he had.

Sad, but this mess never did anything with his life except drugs and spend his daddy's millions.
Atleast some of these other stars actually had a career.

I'm sure his pneumonia was from his drug/hiv lifestyle, but I'm not judging!
He probably had a lot of demons, trying to live up to his father's name.
My heart goes out to all his friends and family. Atleast he can be reunited with his father in heaven.

What's scary about this is how illnesses like pneumonia are becoming immune to medications like penicillin. This does not bode well. It could happen to any one of us. It has partially been caused by people taking penicillin for every little sniffle and then not finishing the medication when they start to feel better. It's going to result in a lot more deaths down the road.

You may not be aware but pneumonia has drastically increased in recent years and in a lot of cases is linked to lifestyle - ie recreational drug use as it f**** with your immune system . This is not the case for everyone , but that is why I commented on lifestyle - hard partying , drink and drugs

Christian Brando never had a chance from the moment he was born. BTW he was named Christian after a character his father played in an extraordinary movie "The Young Lions". This death saddens me more than the death of Heath Ledger, although I loved him too. I have always felt compassion for Christian Brando, but let us not pass judgement on his parents, they were overwhelmed that's all. Christian I will never forget you and I understand all the suffering you had to endure. May you be in peace now, if such a thing is possible, sometimes I wonder.

I had pnuemonio last two years ago. I had to take care of my 2 year old daughter by myself. I almost died also. I had staph infections on both my lungs due to pneumonia. That pnuemonia is nothing to play with and is nasty. The smell that came from coughing thast stuff up is crazy. I was not hospitalized but had the strongest antibotics and cough pain medicine. So I can believe these two actors may have suffered.
