A New Kids Reunion Is Not Happening… For Now

There has been talk of a New Kids on the Block reunion tour the past few days, but one of the former band members says it's not happening!
Danny Wood just sent out the following bulletin to all his MySpace friends:
"Hello to everyone. Hope all is well and everyone is enjoying the New Year. I wanted to address the rumors of the NKOTB Reunion Tour. There has been no talk of this and you are getting it from source directly. Never say never, and you can't believe everything you read.
On another note my solo record will be released in Australia in March. There are a few new songs on it and I hope you guys will check it out. Thank you so much for your continued support.

Yes I was in LOVE with these guys when I was a young girl. I found a box of my old tapes from when I was a teen and there they were, lol. I listened to it and was shocked that I ever listened to them! Sorry to say this but they kinda sucked! I have listened to some of their solo stuff and they are not to bad now (not my type of music but not bad). I just thought it was funny casue a day later I heard this story….guess it is not true. I am kinda glad casue I don't think they would have done very well.
Ok that is a dumb idea.. have you seen Donny lately he is in the saw . He is old and practicallly bald. it's not like the backstreet boys whoa re still good looking these guys are old and are they all going to come up and dance all together I don't need a reunion I would like to remember them the way they were.

Re: steph – ummmmm…lets see….Joey has had a couple of solo albums and so has Jordan, Donnie has been acting and doing some solo stuff too. Johnny has been quiet. He hasen't done anything…he never liked being famous to begin with. And Danny I have no idea…I never heard anything about him since they finished NKOTB.

.. I was all excited about it too. Sadly I still have their sheets, sleeping bag, curtains, dufflebag, buttons, books, dolls, posters, traperkeeper, pens, cassette tapes and even the NKOTB puzzle. lol.. All in storage of course!!!! Oh did I mention I used to watch their Saturday morning cartoon too? lol NKOTB woohoo!

I am DEVASTATED. I was listening to the radio this morning and when they announced that the NKOTB were having a reunion tour my eyes welled up with tears in excitement. I text messaged all my friends instantly and posted a bunch of bulletins on Myspace with articles supporting the reunion. NOW THIS! WTF Danny Wood! Your breaking my heart.

I still say they will be coming back went to their site and it's up that's a mystery to me it's been down since they broke up. I hope they come back without them NSync, Backstreet Boys would of never exited.

Danny was the killjoy that put an end to VH1's Band's Reunited show on New Kids. Jordan and Jon had said yes, Joe was tentative based on what everyone else said. Danny flat out said no and refused an on-camera interview and Donnie followed suit.
In case you've all lost track of what's going on… Donnie is acting (see Sixth Sense, Band of Brothers, Boomtown, Saw, etc), Jordan was on the third season of The Surreal Life and has a few albums out, Joey (*swoon*) is acting on Broadway, had a brief stint on the tv show Boston Public, and also has a few albums out. Jonathon is a real estate developer in Massachusetts and has left music entirely, and Danny is recording solo albums and running his own record label called Damage Records.

I know for a fact some of them were in a studio together a few weeks back…got the pix to prove it. But it was just Joe, Jordan and Donnie…not all of them.
Well, the "offical" NKOTB website.. has been updated again.. with an additional "trailer" which in my opinion would be for an announcement for a comeback. Perez needs to start a vote on this one…. NKOTB reunion tour, would you go??? I would be there.. wherever it was… would not miss it for the world

They are coming back…just look at their website, www.nkotb.com they have a 60 second clip of a new song that all 5 guys are singing. www.nkotb.com was owned by a fan, the group contacted the fan and asked her to transfer ownership to the band, she did on 1/16/08, she has since started up a new site www.nkotbfans.com
