Barbara Walters announced on The View Monday morning that Sam Lufti contacted her and said that Britney is now in treatment with a shrink and that whatever she has is treatable.

He said she has been having lots of mood swings (duh) and was having major probs sleeping.

Why is Osama working as Britney's publicist????

He needs to STOP talking to the media. He should hire a professional and shut his pie hole!!!!

those aren't "sleeping problems". that's called being in a state of mania due to bipolar disorder. we all know what her problem is. the hard part is going to be finding the proper balance of meds and then somehow make her actually take the meds every day voluntarily. her battle is just now beginning. people need to realize that if she is not treated properly, she will commit suicide when she is in a low state. the suicide rate for people suffering from bipolar disorder is really high, especially when they're not properly medicated.

To answer PEREZ's question "Why is Osama working as Britney's publicist????" I think the answer is simple. He got Barbara to talk with some compassion about the Britzer on THE VIEW. Walters was her usual non-commital-self, but Osama via Barbara has opened the door for yet another Barbara Walter's Special. Smells like Spring Fever! This way, we're sitting her mentioning Walters, mentioning Britney, mentioning Lynne, etc. Mass marketing has already begun…That's why Osama is acting as Brit's publicist. Remember when Dian Sawyer interviewed Whitney Houston? Walters wanted that interview, but Whitney thought Dian would go easy on her…it didn't work out that way. Sawyers asked some tuff questions and Witney acted like she had been on crystal meth a little toooooo long. I'll never forget her behavior…so obvious to those in the know.
