Maya Angelou Thinks Barack Lacks Experience

maya.jpg

One of Oprah Winfre's favorite people in the world, Maya Angelous has come out in support of Hillary.

The Clinton campaign is featuring the esteemed poet in a new radio commercial featuring her distinctive and captivating voice.

Says Angelou:

“As a child, Hillary Clinton was taught that all God’s children are equal, so as a mother she understood that her child wasn’t safe unless all children were safe.

I know what kind of president Hillary Clinton will be because I know who she is. Hillary Clinton has always been a strong woman and a passionate protector of families. For 35 years, that’s exactly what she has been doing.

Each generation of African Americans stands on the shoulders of those who came before. Today, the challenges facing us threaten the dreams we have had for our children. We need a president with the experience and strength to meet those challenges.

I am inspired by Hillary Clinton’s commitment and courage — a daughter, a wife, a mother — my girl.”

Everyone can gloss over the Clinton era as a great and wonderful time because they hope we don't have a long memory. This is just one more person that has choosen to put a colorful candy shell over Bill and Hill. What they don't realize is that beneath that candy coated shell are Two Maggots that will eat their way through - That's just what maggots Do - . Hillary has taken elocution lessions, body language lessons, lessons in spin control and lessons in debate strategy. What she has FAILED to do is change the color of her heart and that of her husband's. And maybe it is that color that Maya feels comfortable with, because it's clearly not a decision based on character.

You know, just because Oprah likes Ms. Angelou's work does not mean they have to be of the same mind election wise. Also, methinks Oprah might just be getting her novice political feet wet, perhaps with a personal eye to her own future - and Barack may help her to facilitate that. For some reason, I just don't see Hillary giving Oprah a piece of the mentor pie. Just a random theory.

The Clintons are larvae that were deposited by the democratic party in New York to consume and eat the brains and heart of unsuspecting host bodies. But it was never going to be enough for them, they always had they appetite geared for the entire nation because we all know that they need to rewrite Bill's legacy. And now you see these maggoty maggots slowly eating their way across the country. One of the most notable feasting events was that of Bill's sexual harassement victim's, they supped to their hearts delight on them. But they were eating long before that and they will feast long after that - IF You Let Them.
And don't forget people, Bill feasted overseas on the bodies of all the dead Serbians when he sanctioned American bombers ot carry out unrelenting air strikes on their cities and villages. His body count included the very young and the very old with EVERYTHING in between. He is up to his ears in blood, guts and gore and I ain't talkin' about Al.

    13. Jaggypie says – reply to this

      313

Wow it really amazes me on how many ignorant people have voting power. People need to research the candidates views and history before they vote. I right now am undecided but have looked into both Hillary's and Barack's political experience and yes Hillary has more. She is a member of many more committies/caucuses/organizations than Barack. She has been in the Senate longer. And I'm pretty sure she learned a thing or two as First Lady to a Senator and the President.

Someone said Democrats suck? Well yeah ok .. look at Bush. More countries hate America now more than ever since Bush has been in office. We are in the brink of possibly going into a recession.

I really don't care much about who is backing who. I don't care for Oprah, nor do I care for Ted Kennedy. I don't really know much about Maya so none of their endorsements are swaying me in any one direction.

Be wise people…this election should not be about gender or race but about who can get the job done.

      Check your facts, bitches.

Besides being a senator the only thing Hillary has done is slept with Bill.

And if that really mattered Paula Jones, Ginnifer Flowers, Monica Lewinsky and several other women would be eligible.

If Democrats really cared for the experienced candidate they'd have elected Dodd, Biden or one of the other people. Hillary is nothing but a successful wife of a president.

She is quite accomplished but I don't really see how this is so monumental. She doesn't get credit for being President just because she was married to a President! I am truly shocked by Maya Angelo backing Hillary. I believe Hillary to have set women back 20 years by her NON action of her husband's affairs while in office, his behavior with Monica. She told women by her action, be very afraid of your powerful husband. Don't stand up for your own powerful self. If she had had the ovaries she claims to have, and left her husband. It would have set our country in a powerful direction concerning women and our rights. Former President Clinton, has lied to Congress and has set an poor example to our young people."Oral sex is NOT sex." I think these people, former President Clinton and Ms Hillary are a disgrace to our country and representing it. Snap out of it Maya Angelo! Bulls&#t does not become you! I knew it would take a woman to see the light. When I went to College in the States I chose USCLB. I loved it. Coming from Australia, I had a blast. Must say that of all the friends I made I connected best with the African American girls. I loved their sense of humour and like me they were really down to earth. They weren’t all about shopping and spending. More family orientated and they really went out of their way to make me feel included, although at first it was like, why is this white girl hanging with us. Everyone thought I was Austrian, which kind of worked cause then English is my second language…and if you have ever seen my spelling….I’m much better verbally than on paper.

Vlade Divac and Peja Stojakovic had to muster every once of strength and courage for their Sacramento King's playoff team in 1999. All the while they were on the court and sitting the bench their adoptive country was bombing the hell out of their home country of Serbia with massive air strikes sanctioned by NATO and orchestrated by Wesley Clark, 'member him? He's a good friend of the Clintons. Guess who was in the White House during the Serbian-Albanian conflict? Bill Clinton. Vlade and Peja were running on maybe two hours of sleep each day because they were desparately trying to keep in contact with their loved ones at home, hoping against hope that it would not be the last time they would hear from them. We bombed the BEJESUS out of Kosovo and racked up a massive civilian body count. What's nauseating is that NOBODY is talking about it now. Bill has blood on his hands people, don't let anyone fool you.

Maya has my most devoted admiration. This is a "real woman" never afraid to speak her mind, has a mind of her own and can think independently. I even admire her more now than ever. Maya is a friend of Oprah and is not easily convinced about Oprah's choices, regardless of how much money Oprah has. What I like about Maya is that she is not racist like Oprah, she can recognize talent, skills and pay no attention to the color of the skin. Just amazing!!! I am sad to say this but all the people that I personally know who are black, they are voting Obama because they want to see a black president. That is not the best reason why they should vote for Obama. It's too bad that people cannot see through Obama, he's so arrogant, I can't stand to see his ego growing larger than the entire planet. ALl of you that dare to say that Hillary is just a senator, or Bill's wife; go to her website and find out what a truly remarkable woman, a "real woman" she is. Clinton DOES have more experience in government and politics than Obama. He's onlyhad one term. That's not to say he absolutely could not be successful, but it's more of a gamble with him. Now, Obama can make a moving speech (I see the comparison to Kennedy in that way), and I agree with his platform- any Democrat will be good news for this country. But Clinton is such a passionate expert, particularly when it comes to health care. Plus, she gives many more specifics when asked what she'd do as Pres. Obama speaks in generalities.

And seriously- does he really think he's going to be able to singlehandedly change the system? How, exactly? He never talks about that! How is he going to get both houses of Congress- old and young, Dem and Repub., to stop doing things the way they've always been done? Not saying it's impossible, but I'd like to hear some specifics before I give away my vote blindly…

Perez, you've definitely got the right candidate. (But come one- you could pretend to be impartial…)

The only reason that she even stayed with Bill is to further her political career. Maya Angelou just lost all respect and I hope that Oprah cuts her off. Ok, this is just crazy. Barack and Hilary are in an all out mud slingin fight. Their in the mud pits and slingin mud at each other. Like "Take that!" "Here's mud in your eye!" "Well take some for your face!"…..you get the drift. But my goodness, Hilary's husband went and pulled a trump card. Guess Bill is teaching Hilary how to play Spades. He looks like he's in the back of this picture saying, "Take that Obama! Ha!". It may be a spade he pulled, but it's not the Trump. Hopefully Obama has that card. ;D

Maya Angelou is a typical black bourgeoisie that caters to the oppressor under the auspices of the post-post feminist vote and female empowerment. You won't be at Obama's Inaugural Ball or Oprah's Legends Ball. Still I rise? Please, sit down!

Maya Angelou is correct. I have nothing against Barack Obama. He appears to be a good man and a good public servant. But, as Ms. Angelou states and as I believe to be true: Obama does not have the experience that Senator Clinton has. Team Hillary all the way 2008! Hillary can and will fix the mess made by President Dingleberry for the past 8 years!

BUSH … LACKED EXPERIENCE AND HAS WRECKED OUR COUNTRY. LET'S CORRECT THAT SH!T WITH SOMEONE WHO ISN'T A PART OF THE CORPORATE MACHINE. WITH OUR SUPPORT, OBAMA CAN DO THAT (without lying to us).

Barak has limited experience -he has spent more time running for elected positions than getting anything done.
He is no JFK or even MLK. So far he hasn't DONE anything. As for Hilary, she tried to get health care for
everyone years ago. She has also been an activist for a number of causes for over 35 years. And why is it okay
for Barak to benefit from who his parents happened to be and not okay for Hilary to have a husband who was
      president of the US?
