Lindsay Lohan may be heading back to rehab soon!
The actress, who admitted to relapsing while chugging on a bottle of champagne during a party in Italy over the Christmas holidays, seems to be returning to her hard-pAArtying ways.
We told you, New York is trouble for her!
LL has been boozing it up in Manhattan, the NY Daily News is reporting.
The recovering addict knocked back "at least two" vodka cocktails Friday night at the Beatrice Inn, says the paper.
"Lindsay is learning how to work through her addictions and, once in a while, she chooses to have a cocktail," says a friend, attempting to explain.
Didn't she learn anything in rehab?????

Drinking and druggin go hand in hand….First it's a couple drinks, then how about a little blow to keep the party going….for an addictive person 1 drink is too many and 1,000 aint enough. Being 21 is not relevant, since although she may be of legal age now…she has already shown typical addictive/abusive behavior. I feel sorry for any of you who think smashing into a tree or having a high speed chase while intoxicated is NOT a sign that the person is way out of control and should not drink…ever! BTW…East Coast rocks…:)

She has a hard time moving on and letting go She is nasty. I know one thing I wont see any movies with her in it anymore. I cant stand this girl. She is in early recovery, relapse is quite often a part of this process, as long as she learns from it… However if she is trying to drink/drug in a controlled manner, then she is setting herself up for a big fall…

#102 - Linds - u obviously aren't an addict or know anything about addiction or recovery. An addict who wants to be sober can't have a drink or 2 - that will only lead you back to your drug of choice. Addicts must obstain from all addictive substances - u loser!!!

i was a meth freak for 10 years,,,, 21-31,, im 33, i stll drink but i could not drink at all when geeting off that meth crap………. ALCOHOL IS A TRIGGER,, FACT.. but it is wierd, now i have no desire to do meth, even when drinking heavily,, people can change, slowley………. See I don't know, it's hard for us fans to tell exactly how bad her addictions are because of all the tabloids and untrue, fabricated information. Is she really an alcoholic? If so then she shouldn't be even having one cocktail! BUT if it was more of a drug issue, then what's the problem with a cocktail here or there?? C"mon
Just because she is young and likes to party and have a good time does not mean she's an alcoholic or an addict. You people make such a big deal out of something that doesn't really matter. she not an alcoholic and she doesn't need to go to rehab.

It's only a matter of time before she gets another DUI and or kills someone in the process. She needs to be sent to jail for 180 days because the "rehab" sessions consisting of sex in toilet stalls and stairwells don't appear to be working.

Aaack. Come ON, Lindsay. Go back to work. Go back to school. Do something, anything besides slide back into that constant but mostly empty 'party' morass. Find something better to do with your time, and romance will follow. I never found anyone decent to date in my club days. If a person clubs to much, they get jaded and don't enjoy it. If they work hard, and club once in a while, it's a really appreciated fun night out.

I know many people in recovery and the one thing you have to learn is that if you are an alcoholic you cannot drink…ever. Once they start they end up losing control. She isn't going to "work through" her addiction…it will always be there. Give her a few months and she will be on a coke binge out of control again.
No she didn't learn a thing in rehab because she doesn't care less. She wants to party and that's that! She only went to avoid jail.
Man if I had hooked up with Heath last Fall and was visiting New York this week, I'd need a drink and a shrink!

Yeah, um, usually when you enter rehab, you are told not to touch the substance that you're quitting once you're out of there. At all. Anything can trigger a relapse.
Addiction is hard to understand when you haven't been there (admittedly, I haven't either). Alcoholics respond to alcohol differently than non-alcoholics. While it may be really easy for you to just have one or two cocktails and move on, it's going to trigger a response in her that will make her want more and more booze. She really shouldn't have alcohol at all. Period.
It's sad that she has faced sobriety with a lack of total commitment. If you are an alcoholic and you become sober you can't drink AT ALL. There is no such thing as "social drinking" or "controlled drinking". You are either on the wagon or you aren't. Unfortunately, many of those who have been through rehab once or twice - or AA - or whatever program of choice tend to think that they can "handle it". Once in a while turns into once a day then turns into several a day and next thing they know is they are back in the throes of the disease. She is not making a good role model for those who may have thought "if LiLo can do it, so can I".
I lost my cousin to chronic alcoholism at age 38. He started social drinking at age 12. First came beer (3.1 beer which had more alcohol than regular beer), then he progressed to the harder stuff, and in his worst episodes he would drink Nyquil or even rubbing alcohol. When he married and became a father, he cleaned up. Then he started having one beer when he got home from work. One turned into two, which turned into a 6er, which turned into a 12er, which then turned into a 5th of Jack Daniels a day. He would periodically go back to AA and clean up for a while, but he always fell off the wagon. Losing to the alcohol. In the end, he had severe cirrhosis of the liver and that's what killed him.
I hope LiLo realises that she cant do this. Odds are not in her favor though.
