aren't you worried hillary will be just more of the same DC stuff? more politics as usual instead of taking us in a new and much needed direction? she doesn't seem to slimy and flip floppy? does she have the country's best interests at heart, or her political intrests? i think she's a good politician, i just don't know if she'd be a good president.

I'm glad you are, I'm not. She's so corrupt, I'd have to bathe in acid if I accidentally touched her. Barack has run a clean campaign but not Hillary. She can't win the election on her own merit, she has to lie about her biggest threat. She makes me nauseous.

Are you kidding me????? Barack has more authenticity in the blink of his right eye than Hilary has in her entire, drawn out, planned, deciphered run for office. I am a 31 year old, liberal, freedom-of-speech, equal rights loving woman and I am apalled at the attacks her and former President Bill Clinton have made against Barack. I believe all homosexuals should have the same, equal rights as heterosexuals. I believe our heroes in Iraq should be brought home to their families. I believe Bill Clinton was a good President, unfairly crucified by the right. And most importantly; I believe the Clintons have fallen victim to that same Political agenda and that Barack Obama is the most authentic, positive candidate we have EVER had make a bid for the office. VOTE OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

come on perez, think about it…. she talks about all the change she did but the only two things she was in charge of while her hubby was prezident were healthcare and fundraising, both of which turned out to be huge debocles.

We need a new voice in the white house, someone who can unite us and bring about much needed real change.

VOTE FOR BARACK ON FEBRUARY 5!!!

WASHINGTON - Two generations of Kennedys - the Democratic Party's best known political family - endorsed Barack Obama for president on Monday, with Sen. Edward M. Kennedy calling him a "man with extraordinary gifts of leadership and character," a worthy heir to his assassinated brother.

"I feel change in the air," Kennedy said in remarks salted with scarcely veiled criticism of Obama's chief rival for the nomination, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, as well as her husband, the former president.

"I have marveled at his grit and grace," he said of the man a full generation younger than he is

All I know is that I love Hillary and Obama but I believe that Obama's influence will resonate with the masses. We've killed our leaders in regards to their views of change and while I believe Hillary has the experience…she still hasn't cleared up the baggage of trash that's been left in the hallway. I think we need to stand by a leader that doesn't just embark on change but is also able to be well respected and not polarizing.

It looked like Hillary was actually having fun and enjoying this interview. It is incredible when you compare her speaking ability to Bush's lack of vocabulary and discomfort when speaking. Same with Obama — I find him to be a very compelling speaker. They are both so much smarter than Bush as well, so hopefully one of these two will wind up being the President and getting the US back on track again.

    31

Barack has run a clean campaign?! Are you serious? That is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard! I was volunteering for him in Nevada during the campaign and his campaign ran it so dirty out there! It was shocking. I went into Nevada with general good feelings toward Obama but came out an HRC supporter. Complete and total disappointment in the way that his people were personally attacking HRC instead of addressing her stances on issues. And then he proceeded to encourage Republicans and Independents to switch party affiliations only because they don't want her to be Prez, not because they agreed with his issues. Truly disgusting.

    WAKE UP AMERICANS!
While Mr. Obama has clearly inspired many Americans with his messages of hope during the past few months, a majority of Democratic Americans are clearly NOT CONVINCED that he is, as Oprah dubly states, "The One". Does the "One" have a clear cut health plan in mind? What is it???? He hasn't clearly stated ANYTHING! What does the "One" intend EXACTLY to do about education, the economy, and our foreign policies??????? So you plan to talk to Iran? Whoop Dee Fuckin DOO, OBAMA!
YOU HAVE BEEN IN WASHINGTON 2 YEARS~! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO PUSH A LEAFLET OF PAPER IN THE OVAL OFFICE! YOU DO NOT EVEN KNOW THE CONTINGENTS OF POLITICANS WHO WILL GET IN YOUR WAY!
NO EXPERIENCE! NO EXPERIENCE! NO EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!
YOU ARE NO SENATOR KENNEDY. KENNEDY HAD PEOPLE WITH PLANS!!!!!!
WAIT 8 YEARS AND MAYBE I'LL VOTE FOR YOU WHEN YOU GET A PLAN, OBAMA!!!!!!!
WAKE UP YOUTH OF AMERICA! THE NEXT FOUR YEARS ARE CRITICAL. PLEASE VOTE FOR EXPERIENCE, SO THAT THE MESSAGE OF HOPE IS TRULY REAL AND DOESN'T FIZZLE OUT BY THE NEXT STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS~ugh…you Obama people are being fooled by "Hope". Try giving hope to all the people foreclosing on their house tomorrow, Obama. What's your plan, again?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Vote for Hillary Clinton if you want another Republican in the White House, she is the very definition of divisive and nothing will energize the Republicans more than the prospect of defeating her.
If you want a Democrat candidate who can actually unite people from all sides and build a working majority to make positive changes in this country, vote for Barack Obama. He's an amazing man, a smart man with world and life experiences Hillary can't compare to. He's not steeped in Washington, he's not playing the same old political games… he is the real deal.

I realize that's what this site is mostly about, but we need to stop focusing on mindless crap and talk about real life. We all love this celebrity gossip crap, but it's getting old. Very old. I'm glad ur coming to ur senses perez!!! Obama has done nothing but cast himself in the shadows of former leaders. He has been referred to as the "new JFK" but why would I want that? JFK was great but I want the new prez to be an individual not try to compare himself to others, he needs to make his own image! Now hillary, she can't compare herself to anyone. she is who SHE is and that is great. She will do for this country what shoulda been done two terms ago! don't be fooled by the others, vote for the one who has 35 years of experience!!!!!!!!!! HILLARY CLINTON FOR PRESIDENT '08

    Re: Average Middle Class American

Look at Obama's 20 years of change… helping low-income families in Chicago fight job outsourcing and unfair housing. Sounds a lot better to me than the Baord of Directors at Wal-Mart, which is Anti-Union (like Hillary). Obama was successful in the Ill Leg and in the Sen by working with bboth parties to pass health insurance, equal rights, ethics reform, campaign reform, and a variety of other laws. Hillary attempted healthcare and ethics reforms, and failed miserably because she doesn't know how to work well with others, and her plans and ideas are severly misguided. As far as elected experience, Obama has been in elected office for longer than Hillary. Also, I count his time as a constitutional law professor as critical, as our constitutional rights are being taken away as we speak (read the constitution people… you'd be surprised as to what our actual rights are, and how much the current admin is trying to take away). Honestly, I want someone who has lived around the world, been exposed to different races and classes, and who has worked for the under-privileged… not someone who has spent their life becoming the perfect washington insider.

  76. Grace E. says – reply to this

    76

Sen. Kennedy has been critical of the Clinton campaign for injecting racial issues into the campaign, and in a thinly veiled blast that is usually saved for Republicans, he rejected the campaign’s tactics.

“With Barack Obama, we will turn the page on the old politics of misrepresentation and distortion. … We will close the book on the old politics of race against race, gender against gender, ethnic group against ethnic group, and straight against gay.”

    Ol' School Democrats know!

    Re: Nikole, Disillusioned Obama Volunteer
Could you elaborate? I saw him as only responding to attacks from the Billary duo. She has done whatever she can think of to try to smear Obama….she brought race into the debate, tried to smear him in Nevada by saying he supported the Yucca Mtn. project, and now is dragging the Rezko situation into the campaign. I think he has the right to defend himself and bring up the fact that her hands are by no means clean if she's going to try to smear him like she clearly has. I completely agree with the statements by Obama supporters above, and Hillary will not get my vote.

OR sit there and promise to "bring our boys home". now, i have 2 cousins that are fighting in the war. we all have or know loved ones that are in this war but think about the shit hole this country will be in if one of these yahoos was to take office the day after winning and say alright, first order of business, bring the boys home. holy shit will it be bad. how do you predict it will go.. you tell me that and ill listen.

Re: Hillary all the way – If you watched Obama tonight on CNN, you would have watched him say that he does not compare himself to JFK, but that he compares the feeling of needing and wanting change that is occuring now to the period when JFK was running for president. Never has he compared himself to JFK. Caroline Kennedy did, and she has the right to do so. But don't put words in the man's mouth like Hillary does. Look at Hillary's and Obama's records…. seriously, instead of spweing Hillary campaign BS, actuall;y look at their records. This man has done more for the underprivileged, for the people of Ill, and the people of America in 20 years than Hillary has done in 35 (by the way, what was she doing? being a governor's wife? sitting on the voard of wal-mart denying their employees healthcare???).

Families are losing loved ones in Iraq and all that heals them is to trashtalk Bush and let his approval ratings slip.. not realizing how hard it must have been to be in office on the morning of September 11, 2001. HOW THE HELL WOULD SOME OF YOU MORONS HANDLE THE SITUATION? What ELSE was America supposed to do? Sit around like France and be known as pussies? It's not an easy situation, and some of you immature little twits only know how to hate and bitch. Whoever wins the election will take action and bring the boys home. Then what? What will be the next attack? When? How? You can't inflict harsher, stricter security and leave it alone. It WILL be bad. Some of you just aren't smart enough to think about that.

She has sucked corporate cock for the past 35 years. Is part of the 35 years those 4 years she spent supporting the war in Iraq? Has that made people's lives better? Also, I would think that any racial minority would be a bit disgusted with the Clinton's right now. If you need specific facts and well put rational argument as to why not to vote for Hillary Clinton, see Ralph Nader's editorial that was published today.

Wow. This video was so incredibly scripted. Hillary seemed so cold and fake–what a surprise. As a die hard crazy feminist, I am voting for Barak for so many reasons but mainly it's because I am sick of the Bush/Clinton dynasty that has been controlling the government for way too long.

Perez, stick to what you know best and it's not politics.

Rejecting a last-ditch effort by former President Bill Clinton, Sen. Edward Kennedy firmly bestowed his blessing Monday on Barack Obama’s presidential campaign. But the endorsement by Ted Kennedy and the daughter of John F. Kennedy is still a hit to Clinton, whose campaign staff had worked for weeks trying to encourage the senior senator to at least stay neutral in the primary battle that is pitting Obama’s message of change against New York Sen. Hillary Clinton’s message of experience.

The New York Times and Politico both detailed in Monday’s editions how Bill Clinton personally appealed to Kennedy to refrain from making any endorsements before the end of the primary season, and how the Clinton campaign enrolled a number of friends to lobby Kennedy on Hillary Clinton’s behalf.

Being an elected official's spouse is not real actual experience of a real elected official.

Seriously, people. Don't you think change is in order here? I may be drunk, but I watched the State of the Union, and all I have to say is "FUCK. WE ARE SCREWED."
Nothing has changed. Nothing. Fuck this, I'm going to CNN.
