Production on Michelle Williams' new film has been delayed to allow her to grieve the loss of Heath Ledger.
The movie was set to begin production late next month.
"We will hold off until she is ready," says a source connected with the film. "The production is in the process of sorting it out in respect to her."
Williams had finished filming her final scene in another film being shot in Sweden when she found out the awful news of Ledger's passing.
The actress has been in seclusion and privately mourning since Heath's death.
Our thoughts are with her.

Poor Michelle, my heart goes out to her. Her life will never be the same and she has lost someone she cared so deeply about. True, she and Heath weren't together in the few months before his death, but she loved him very much. Be strong girl!

Michelle is amazing…I love her. I heard that Heath's drug use was the reason that they broke up, which makes it even more sad, because I'm sure they both loved each other despite not being together anymore.
I hope for her and Matilda's sake the cause of death does not involve drugs

it's a terrible blow. I'm just a fan of Health Ledger's work but I'm haunted by his sudden death , particularly since he died so soon after another young star, Brad Refro died.
Heath Ledger appeared to have a good family who cared for him ( many people arent so lucky), they will help Michelle Williams through this difficult time but one never truly recovers from such a loss.

Why did the entire production have to be shut down? We all know she isn't the star of whatever movie she's in. No one would ever pay to see a "Michelle Williams" film. Who cares? Let the whore mourn and continue filming with a cardboard cut-out. Same thing as having her there.

Re: Joe – Give the man and his family some respect. Don't speculate on how he died. Toxicology reports have found nothing to prove what you are saying. and even if that were the case a young man still died and that in itself is sad.
Here's the sad part of it all. Those who loved Heath kept his drug problem private. That's a very noble thing…however, it ended up costing him his life. I bet there's a lot of guilt in Hollywood over this. Of course, it's unfounded, but it's human nature to think you could have done something. And maybe they could have.

Poor Michelle and Tabitha. Hope she can remember Heath for who he REALLY was, and how much he loved both of them. He wouldn't want them to be sad!

FYI- She did NOT finish shooting the Sweedish film. There were two more interior shots that were to be filmed there. They will now shoot them in February in New York.
I've been thinking about her since this happen. She must be so overwhelmed with grief. Despite separating, they always seemed to have a very close connection. She seems like a very deep, intelligent and sensitive person. I am thinking only the best for her.
I think Michelle Williams is a strong person and she seems like a wonderful mother. Although I don't her on a personal level she seems like she will pick up the peices for her daughter and continue to be a strong, beautiful human being, and her daughter is fortunate to have her.

Heath & Michelle were private and kept a low profile, despite their fame.

Okay, I agree she is not cute and she is pretty much a one dimensional actress because of dating heath, having his baby and all the attention she is getting - she will get more roles. Also, I doubt Heath had a will drawn up- so his family will not get any of the money from his estate, it will go to Matilda and Michelle will hold the purse strings until she turns 18.
I think she did trick Heath into getting her pregnant than dumped him after she just didn't want to deal with his problems but I still feel sorry for her. Nobody deserves this - no matter what the person is like.
Michelle Williams is absolutely adorable and seems to be a strong woman. I just hope she's focused on being "there" for her daughter in this time of grief. I can't EVEN imagine what could be running through her mind right now.
