The voice of Bart Simpson, actress Nancy Cartwright, donated $10 million to the "church" of Scientology last year.
TEN MILLION!!!
Her donation was part of Scientology’s Global Salvage effort, which aims to “de-aberrate” Earth - meaning to rid mankind of psychology ills and other “aberrant” behavior.
In other words: that's some scary shit!
Nancy, who makes over $200,000 per episode of The Simpsons, donated twice as musch as the Queen Scientologist, Tommy Cruise, who only gave $5 million in an installment plan.
Kirstie Alley matched Tom’s donation, but fellow actors John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston donated just a million each. His career ain't quite what it used to be!

2- RE all of the comments regarding the donation….while I agree that there are alot of other charities in the world, the money is not your money. If you stopped supporting the shows and movies these people are in of course it would not be their money either and the donation process would cease. That being said, since you have ensured their payments, and they firmly believe that erradicating mental illness is in their hands, you really have no business judging their choice. So the point here is that while YOU may find St Judes a more worthy recipient, to someone else that may not be the case. I personally think ONE is the most important charity right now but again, I dont have 10 million anythings to give to anyone.

This is a total cover for something else. It has to be. These people can't be that bitter with psychiatrists. Like, the Scientologists are no better than psychiatrists. Like psychiatrists and sociologists, who attempt to understand human behaviour, the Scientologists instead have developed their own set of rules and methodology doing the same thing. Instead they label it in terms of "handling" others and everything seems related to dealing with systems of control and power. Terminology like ARC and KRC are just simplified models for similar goals. It just doesn't take someone with a PHd to understand, and probably deals very poorly with actual mental conditions, such as those who are suffering rapid neuron degeneration or are actually missing part of their brain.
How does Scientology come to an understanding of what the soul is when the only observable state is our current behaviour? If the body is not just body, and does comprise of the soul as a separate entity, then why does someone who has suffered physical harm not behave as their old normal self? Obviously it's the thetans…
