We told you earlier today about Heath Ledger's shocking drug-fueled video, and now….
We've gotten a very stern letter from the lawyers for Entertainment Tonight and The Insider, who will be broadcasting the vid.
It reads:

Two times when in life your dirty laundry will come out: #1 you run for public office and #2 if you are famous and die. Is it ugly? Yes! Is it horrible that at a a time that his family is dealing with this tragedy that they are also dealing with this? Absolutely! It is also horrific to think of the day when his daughter is old enough to see that video what it will do to her! But do you know who did it? He did. Not to say that maybe he was addicted and needed help. Clearly though on that video he is of sound mind to say that his girlfriend was going to be upset because she was upstairs with their 3 month old daughter. Sometimes unfortunately when you hurt others the pain continues and sometimes you can never take it back. That is what Heath has done in this case. I feel sorry that this is another lost soul that completely got messed up in the wonderful Hollywood fantasy. I also feel horrible that him choosing to get high has hurt his family and may have also taken his life too early, that still remains to be seen. In life you REALLY have to think about how the things you do may affect others. You don't always have a chance to apologize. It is a very, very sad ending and I feel horrible for all of his family and his little baby girl. Rest in Peace Heath.

I've seen heroin addicts….heath ledger did NOT look like a heroin addict….most celebrities dabble in drugs, as do a lot of normal civilians…i think it is absolutely disgusting that the tabloids are dragging all of this out when a family have just lost their son, a girl has lost her father, and Hollywood one of its stars. Could they not at LEAST wait until the toxicology/autopsy reports come back before they insinuate all of this nasty stuff in the wake of a sad, premature death?

I used to Watch ET/Insider on a daily basis, but more and more i started to see how they didnt care about anyone, all they cared about was ratings. They exploited everyone and I fianlly had enough and havent watched either since.
like many others, this past week has been a very awkward one. I think we've all been totally shocked by Heath Ledger's death and we all wanted to know more but dont you think it's gone too far? I understand everyone is looking after the most money they can make out of any story, but we should all have understood this after that A.N.S. thing. NOW is the time to say ENOUGH, dont you think? I dont care if he was a drug addict, of course, a little dissapointed but it seriously doesnt change a thing to the fact that he was a nice person. Most of us know at least 3 person in our entourage that are drug abuser. Does that mean they're not good people? Will it change anything to the sadness that his family, friends and we feel from his death if we know that he died from an overdose of any drug? It's a loss, a big one to people he loved and they have probably tried to help if the fact is that he was an addict; now is just going to make them feel guilty like anyone having that kind of event happening. They will have to feel this in front of the world watching. This is one thing I'm having such a hard time understanding; when he was alive, he didnt want to show everyone his regular normal human being life, now that he's not there to defend himself but most of all his family, they are being harassed without asking for it…

I saw a clip of the video and it broke my heart. Not because Heath was doing drugs, I love Heath no matter what and he was far from some hard core junkie. Its because of when he said " I know I shouldn't even be here'. It wasn't like some of the other celeb videos we've seen where they're doing drugs. To me, the impression I got, was he was just acting like a normal person who wanted to get lit a little. Hell, how many of us have done the same thing? Whats sad to me is that he was hanging out with 2 people he didn't know, maybe just to secape it all and hand out with "normal, regular" people. He opens up to them about Michelle and Matilda, and the whole time they're filming him knowing damn well that they're gonna try and ruin him someday. Heath wasn't doing anything that a million other people haven't done. Hollywood is full of druggies and boozers. He was always a professional and never difficult to work with. He seems far from a hard core drug addict. It really saddens me that ET and The Insider are deciding to show this tape. They're so obsessed with getting all the dirt they can on somebody, they don't care who they hurt in the process. I have always loved Heath and will continue to do so. My opinion of him has not changed at all and no matter what kind of crap they put out there about him, my feelings on him and the whole tragic situation will never change. My thoughts are with his family and I hope they know how much Heath was loved and respected.

As someone who has been pronounced clinically dead twice, and been to the other side twice. Don't wish anyone bad things. Just so you all know, Heath can see everything that is going on. He sees the people that are supportive, and he sees the people that are full of hatred. Your body is a vessel. When you die, you leave it, and your soul rises or falls. There is a heaven and there is a hell with scary demonic things. They are drawn to hatefulness. I grew up Catholic, but was not very religious until I died the first time. After what I have seen, my rosary goes everywhere with me. Just because he did drugs does not warrant you a bad person. Saying terrible things about people, and wishing people death is only setting yourself up for BAD karma. I will warn you, I would find some prayer and peace within yourselves and research, because this is fact. I feel for his little girl and Michelle who will have to explain all of this sad stuff to her. That little girl is going to be scarred for life. My husband and I were about to adopt from Haiti, and because my future is grim, was not allowed adoption rights. Be glad you are still on this earth.
The video is from 2006, who fucking cares what happened 2 years ago…the guy died just over a week ago and a lot can happen in 2 years. Heath is dead, he ain't coming back, let him rest in peace.

I'm not going to act like I don't love juicy celebrity gossip, but this is going way too far. Showing that video would only be in very bad taste. He, as well as his family, deserve more consideration and respect than that.
So where's the rest of the footage incriminating the other people that were there? I've seen the footage and he wasn't by himself with a camera the room was full of people, probably shitting themselves that they too will be exposed by this slimebag. Why release it now dawg? Why not when he was alive and able to defend himself. you are not hurting Heath you are hurting Michelle, Matilda, his family and tarnishing the reputation that he went to his grave with. I didn't know Heath at all, and I don't believe that he was doing drugs. But if he did, it's still PRIVATE! It so cowardly and sick to hang him out in the media when he passed away and can't defend himself. And his loved ones shouldn't have to defend him, they are going through enough right now.

Re: anon – This is true, they will not be showing the video. I'm surprised, but pleased. It is also true that he is not shown doing any drugs in the video. Other people are doing drugs around him at Chateau Marmont. I think the Chateau has coke snorting groupies on staff who are paid to show up at celebrity parties and do lines near the celebs to make them feel cool and provide the right atmosphere… and of course to provide coke to the celebs who want it. Ok I'm kidding, but seriously, I would be shocked to go to a party there and NOT see people doing coke.
