Re: n – THANK YOU, n! I love how these people are 'in solidarity' with the writers, but are taking shit loads of money for movies. let 'em go! i'm no actor, but i'm sure pretty people are a dime a dozen.
For the record, you brilliant philosophers, less than 4% of the members of the Screen Actors Guild make more than $5,000 per year. Sure, there are mega-stars that make millions of dollars acting, but the VAST majority of actors struggle just to get by. The idea of producers and studios making continued profit through EST (electronic sell thru) without compensating actors and writers is the reason for contract renegotiaitions.
Also, all this means is that SAG's current contract is up in June and must be renegotiated. There is no guarantee that there will even be another strike. So stop bitching about ALL the rich actors.
