Tyra Banks continues to build on her brand and make more and more money!!!
Well on her way to being her generation's Oprah, the talk show and Top Model host has just inked a deal with the CW to produce a new reality show for them.
No, it's not a show on wigmaking, though Tyra should look into that.
The show is being described as The Devil Wears Prada meets The Assistant.
The series has received an eight-episode commitment and begins production in April for a launch in late spring or summer.
It's being eyed as a potential companion piece for Top Model.
"It is a competition show about aspiring assistants looking to become assistant editors at a fashion magazine," co-executive producer Ken Mok. "At the same time they're trying to prove themselves as aspiring fashionistas, that they have a sense of style and savvyness, all the things to make it in the fashion world."
No word yet on what magazine will be hosting contestants.

It sounds horrid. Last season's ANTM sucked big ol' hairy ones. Tyra has no magazine experience; the one thing she is able to bring to ANTM is her penchant for torture and ability to hype drama to fever-pitch. I just don't think the show will fly. And she does NOT need to be the sole "picker" for contestants in future cycles!

There are no more auditions for this dumb fake show. The applications were linked to craigslist in August 07, held in Glendale CA. I auditioned and it is all staged, and typecasted. They tell the girls what to wear, how to dress, and want to make them ugly to transform them into fashionistas. They invent fake personas for the dumb girls who decided to go along with it. Trust me, you want no part of it. Just go to fashion school and move to NY or LA, you'll learn about fashion.
They told me not to mention my education at Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM where dumb LC goes - yes I've met her shes a little bitch) and to not disclose that I am a fashion show coordinator.
