Congrats!!!

This is soooo awesome!

On December 19th, 2007, we posted this "Listen To This" suggestion.

It was a delightful song by a lovely French/Israeli singer named Yael Naim.

Since then, in a little over a month's time, her song had been chosen to air in the new MacBook Air commercials and the tune, New Soul, has just skyrocketed to #5 on the iTunes singles chart.

So awesome!

Robyn for starters: her album was already 2 YEARS OLD by the time you wrote about it! I do think she's darling…but she's just a newer version of Regina Spektor. I actually thought it was Regina doing the MACair ads! I'm not saying that there's not room for newer versions of something fresh (like Regina), but Coffee House Quirkiness is not enough to override what Regina has already done so well.
