Wow, thanks, Perez! I didn't realize it was on and was watching the Lost recap instead. I am ashamed of myself.

I don't think lowering health care premiums and demanding that parents get insurance for their children is enough, as Obama is proposing. I might be sold if he was at least arguing that this is a step on the way to universal healthcare, but he seems less interested in that. Clinton at least seems like she knows that we have to do this in stages; I feel like she's moving toward a bigger goal. I guess I feel more strongly about Clinton, but I don't really like either of these candidates. I want John Edwards back! (Incidentally, he's at the Carolina game right now, which we have on in the other room … I'm watching the game, the debate, and Lost all at once.)

'Very Psychotic' Madonna Stalker Escapes From Mental Hospital!

This is terrifying!

Very early this morning, the Los Angeles Police Department announced that 54-year-old Robert Dewey Hoskins, a man who was convicted of stalking and threatening Madonna, has escaped from a mental hospital in Norwalk, CA.

The LAPD are describing the man as follows:

"...A very psychotic man when not taking his medication and has very violent tendencies."

According to the LAPD, Hoskins served 10 years in prison for his actions against Madonna, and he was placed in the Norwalk mental hospital after "an additional run-in with police."

Stay safe, Madonna! We know the police are doing everything in their power to find this dangerous man!
