Scientology Under Attack!

Somebody is trying to spook the kooks!

Mysterious envelopes containing apparently harmless powder were sent to Church of Scientology locations in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas on Wednesday, prompting street closings and evacuations.

In total, 19 "church" locations were targeted, and authorities are trying to determine who sent them.

Glendale police shut down a street for two hours and Tustin authorities evacuated 60 people from buildings as hazardous materials teams were called in.

Initial tests indicated the powder was harmless.

We may not like Scientology, but don't be doing stupid shit like this! It affects us all.

Re: Leave Scientology Alone – True man has existed for far longer than Christianity doctrine would have you believe. The UNIVERSE has been around a FAR FAR FAR FAR shorter time than L. Ron Hubbard stated. Hubbard stated that the Universe has been around for TRILLIONS of years. Current science theory (not LRH science fiction) puts the Universe age somewhere between 12 - 20 billion years.

This is an attack against Scientology by Anonymous.

had you been bothered to do some decent research as opposed to just ripping off another blog you'd see that it is only part of a series of coordinated protests by the group.

They have managed to crash the COS website several times over the past few
weeks. Notice you didn't report that either.

If Scientology really worked, Tom Cruise would be able to stop Anonymous with his Scientology OTVII-level super powers. If there were any real OTVIII Scientologists, Anonymous could not have existed or risen up in the first place.

Figure it out, Scientologists; L. Ron Hubbard lied to you in order to get you to buy his books and give him all your money. You've been hoaxed. You're just lining Miscavige's pockets for a bundle of lies now.

Hi Bystander. Let me clarify. I have no problem with those "who speak out against the tactics of Scientology leaders." I think it's necessary to shine a spotlight on any subculture. It's amazing the crud you find.
But, sending mystery packages of powder or worse (what's next, letter bombs?) is terrorism that serves no purpose but to hurt or maim. Other than some press, what does this accomplish?

PS> I'm not a member either. I still have trouble wrapping my brain around the fact that they classify as a religion.

And yet, you dont have to do this shit to make your point…Hell, they expose their own idiocy with the very first book l ron buzzard wrote, "Dianetics, The Modern Science of Mental Health" Notice he totally cribbed the initials from the Diagnosticians Manual that is the Psychiatric Bible, (think DSMMH) versus his poorly cribbed DMSMH -gee what an unimaginative copycat….. I absolutely cannot stand their copycat uniforms trying to imitate like they are a branch of the armed services of the United States. They just sent me another folder today….they look like such poser retarts. You know, a virgin to God.That sort of thing. We should defend the right to freedom of religion, but if lives are taken, then it is no longer a religion. In this day in age it is not ok in America to defend this. Do your research, find out what they spread. It is a disease.

Re: That Guy – You are kind of an idiot. The earth is approximately 4.5-5 billion years old. Our sun (as with most stars) lives approximately 10 billion years old. There is no real gage of time in the old testament. We simply do not know how they counted days, years, etc. Who is to say that God didn't create the earth as he made man, mature, with fossils and other things for the disbelievers. I am a christian, so I understand that my opinion is skewed. But, all organizations throughout history have abused their power. Every organization has killed at some point. But it has always been the few that ruin the names of all. In America, Christianity in its ordinary form poses no threat to society. Scientology kills, that is their policy, and I think we can at least agree on that.

Some people in this world are seriously brainless. First I am NOT a Scientologist, but I can tell you that they should not be a target. And who are you to say, 'even though We may not like Scientology?' There beliefs are better than most religions out there and they at least go by science. Any religion could seem weird depending on who is running it. They are at least on the right wave of thinking. When I heard about the silent birth I thought that was awesome. It should be quiet for a baby coming into the world. Tom is a great dad and Suri looks no worse for wear. Screw the haters!!!!

      255

Maybe Scientologists sent the packages themselves so they could convince law enforcement to go after the "Anonymous" group that has begun a campaign against them. A few bags of flour and some stamps to get the authorities to do the job for free is cheaper than private investigators.

    56. maybe says – reply to this

      256

hey Sarah. Scientology is NOT based on ANY ACTUAL SCIENCE, WHATSOEVER. It is based on Science Fiction. Hubbard wrote sci fi novels and then used that as the foundation to start his own religion. His religion says that an Alien god Xenu brought millions of aliens to this planet and put them near volcanoes. He then dropped nuclear bombs in the volcanoes that killed the aliens and sent their souls into all people. (and when we die they leave us and into someone else) Scientology courses rid your body of its million alien inhabitants and when you are done you are a CLEAR. Then you begin training to become an Operating Thatan which is a fully trained Scientologist. When you become an OT you get superpowers.

What science class tought that and what does that have to do with any religion whatsover. It's like saying youre a Jedi. Scientology doesn't want the general public to know about the Alien story. They don't share it with new church members until they have already studied for a while and are fully indoctrinated already.

All Scientologists need to squeeze those friggin' cans; repeatedly until all the money's gone. Better yet, get your own cans! (That's e-meter for all you dirty, filthy wogs out there.) Better get on course and join the bridge to freedoom. Freedom from your own thoughts and your money. If David Miscavige is such a big deal, why can't Scientology fix that lisp of his? The list of mysterious Scientology deaths grows. David Miscavige's sister committed suicide. AND his mother-in-law's death also was ruled a "suicide," until some genius noted that she'd been shot FIVE times. Google these tidbits.

    62. Google David Miscavige and you will never call Scientology a "religion" again says – reply to this

      262

Boy! Scientology does wonders for a family. In addition to his sister's suicide, his mother-in-law's murder, another sister left Scientology and promptly became a prostitute (social climber!). David's father purportedly raped and assaulted a woman, but Scientology's wunderkind attorneys had that little spat dropped. AND behind his back, the Scientology drones refer to David as the "asthmatic drarf," in reference to his lisp and overall midgetry.

I just read the Paulette Cooper story. It's time the NYTimes or another reputable newspaper did a major story on Scientology and its attendant craziness and evil. If David Miscavige and Tom Cruise were truly proud of their "religion" they would welcome the press. But they're not — the know it's vile bullshit — and they run from and try to squash every bit of publicity they get. Pretty transparent fuckers, I'd say.

The Church of Scientology has killed its' members before for speaking out about its' poorer points. Whoever sent those harmless bags of powder was funny as hell. IT'S A PRANK!! Actually, i was told the church itself sent those envelopes.
don't just preach what you hear…

Scientology sent those envelopes to itself in an attempt to frame Anonymous and make the group look bad/dangerous. Try Googling "Operation Freakout" and/or "Paulette Cooper" if you don't believe me.

      we are anonymous
      we are legion
      anonymous never forgives
anonymous can be a horrible , senseless, and uncaring monster

      Scientology is a cult
      and must be destroyed
      as we shall do.
      February 10th.
      it ends.

Oh Tom, don't you realize that 99% of the "real" world thinks you and your ilk are dum-asses? We are told by the Scientology receuiters that you, John Travolta, Jenna Elfman, Kirstie Alley and the usual band of Hollywood idiots are involved in Scientology to get up all hyped up about joining. Well, Tom, maybe if you and your little dip-shit friends could start the movement by being more generous with your millions we may be a little more moved. And I'm no talking about donating to some super huge organization or to Scientology. Donate to just "regular" people who are homeless, struggling to pay their mortgages and buy groceries. That would impress me…..douchebag!

"Leave Scientology Alone"……..the fuck I will! These evil agents of Satan have destroyed many families by their "disconnect" policy. My brain-washed realatives have given of $250,000 US dollars towards this "cause". All the while, they live in a shitty part of Clearwater and are virtual slaves. You are never allowed to visit with them alone……always a Scientology "minded" hanging around! WANKERS ALL! I pray daily for their "release"…….but who knows who they are now. I feel sorriest for the kids because they are educational retards. The Delphine School (which all the HItler Youth attend) should join up with he Muslim "Death to America schools"……it would be a perfect match. There is an office in every Org……just for L.Ron Hubbard, in case he ever reincarnates and "comes back". When He "does come back"…it will be reincarnated as a sewer rat…….keep the D-Con coming!!!

More than just a bunch of script kiddies. Anonymous has 'members' (and i use that term very loosely, due to the nature of the group) all over the internet and the world.
