Dumped!

Just weeks after suffering a devastating miscarriage, Lily Allen, 22, has been dumped by her much elder boyfriend, Chemical Brothers Ed Simons.

The pair had only been dating since September.

Poor Lily!

"They tried to make things work but couldn’t," says a pal of Allen's. "The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them - and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained."

Adds the friend, "Lily is really upset things haven’t worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family. But there is a big age difference and the heartbreak they had to cope with was too much too early in their relationship."

Just be careful now, Lilly. Don't drown your sorrows away in booze or drugs.

Focus on your work, girl. And stay strong!
