Just weeks after suffering a devastating miscarriage, Lily Allen, 22, has been dumped by her much elder boyfriend, Chemical Brothers Ed Simons.
The pair had only been dating since September.

"They tried to make things work but couldn’t," says a pal of Allen's. "The miscarriage was a horrible experience for both of them - and in recent weeks the mood between them had been really strained."
Adds the friend, "Lily is really upset things haven’t worked out for her and Ed. She had talked about settling down for good and having a family. But there is a big age difference and the heartbreak they had to cope with was too much too early in their relationship."

Speaking from experience………
I suffered a miscarrige myself and it caused a great deal of suffering, grief, saddness and its really hard on a relationship. Alot of people break up after suffering a miscarrige because of the stress it puts on a realationship I guess. All I can say is its better that pussy guy dumps her now than later when they do have a baby or life gets hard because if he cant handle going threw a miscarrige or stress in the relationship than he probably wouldnt be around when a baby was brought into the picture or when life got stressfull. If a couple can work threw a miscarrige or other major stressers in a relationship than I would say that the relationship will last. To many people give up when life gets hard. Relationships arnt all about fun and sex they are about two people comming together as a team and going threw lifes ups and downs together. That dude is a pussy shit!

Sadly, this happens often to couples who suffer miscarriages. I've seen it happen a number of times. I'm sure the media attention to this didn't help them. I am not going to put blame on either of them here. I have no doubt he still cares about her and will be supportive to her. They may even get back together. I'm sure this is a stressful time for both of them.
