Amy Prepping For Grammy Trip
Amy Winehouse took a short break from rehab on Monday to pay a visit to the U.S. Embassy in London to meet with officials about renewing her visa, which may not be easy due to her marijuana possession arrest in Norway last year and other troubles.
The singer's father, Mitch, does not want his daughter to come to Los Angeles for the Grammy Awards this weekend - she's nominated in six categories - but she seems intent on making it out for the big day.
Accompanied by her dad, Amy was dressed in a white skirt and polka dot top, and with her trademark beehive in place. Wino looked healthier than she has done in recent weeks.
A spokesman for Winehouse said Monday that no decision had been made on whether or not she will attend the Grammys.
"The appointment at the US Embassy was made some time ago and was part of process for obtaining a visa. No decision has been made about the Grammys," says her rep. "Amy was accompanied by a nurse as the appointment was under supervision. She has not left rehab and remains under the care of the clinic."
