Autopsy Results Expected Today or Tomorrow

The New York Chief Medical Examiner's office announced Monday that we should expect the autopsy results in the tragic death of Heath Ledger within 48 hours.
"We're expecting something in the next two days," Ellen Borakove, director of public affairs at the New York Chief Medical Examiner's office said.
Hopefully this will bring some closure to the actor's untimely passing.

all in all it was sad that he died. and i have high belief that it was all in accident.. come on now.. have you seen his little girl. who would ever want to leave that behind. and he was on a role with his entertainment career. yeah sometimes things are shitty.. but he just seemed like a great person that would never kill himself or be so deep into drugs that it lead to an overdose.

That doesn't mean that we care less about the people that die everyday (that we do not know). It actually means quite the opposite. Also, I wish Perez would post a different picture of Heath. Perez has been quite decent about Heaths death and he just reported the facts about the entire deal. He wasn't the one that bought the "drug party tape" - that was ET and The Insider. Honestly, if it wasn't for Perez's site and other sites, the tape might have aired … but all the attention the tape got– got actors and PR agencies so ticked, they called up ET and got them to relent on showing it.
Perez used to not care of Heath, as did a lot of media because he treated them poorly. Now I can see that Heath was just a depressed, lonely, anxiety-ridden guy– which made him seem aloof and sorta like an a-hole. I see him in a totally different light now.
Anyway, don't bag on Perez- he has been very professional during this

I don't know why ppl are complaining about that picture Perez. He looks hot! Like him with dark hair. This is from the movie set of the movie he was doing when he died. It still seems so wrong to think of Heath and dead in the same sentence. I love him! I will always adore him. They announced that the rapper known as Pimp C who was found dead in bead in WeHo last week died from natural causes! He was 32. He had a condition called sleep apnea which means that you stop breathing while you're asleep. And he took some cough medicine with codeine in it and the combination of codein and sleep apnea caused heart failure or lung failure. Anyway he is dead from it. This could also be Heath's problem > read when you have sleep apnea, you snore. And his housekeeper said he was snoring. He also smoked very heavy. So there's that.
I will hate Mary Kate Olsen forever. She is dead to me. Heath should never have been around people like her. She and her crowd are poison. He was too sweet and too trusting, plus he was sad bcz Michelle dumped him for another guy.
I got really excited about this, and then I realized how fucking awful I was to be excited about this. You have to be curious though- I feel worse not knowing HOW he could have died. And I can't stand people who are saying "get over it, wahh when everyday people die no one cares" of course no one cares! And I don't expect anyone to make a fuss when I die either! Millions of people "knew" Heath through movies, Americans love living in a fake reality, so millions of people are going to be even the tiniest bit effected.
And if he died of pneumonia straight up, I bet Terry Gilliam is going to feel like an asshole.
..Also, it is already ruled out that it could be an illegal substance. That only takes a day or two tops for them to test for, not weeks. Believe me!
What about Brad Renfro? How come we haven't heard anything about him? He was in twice as many movies as Heath.

it's the toxicology report, not the autopsy!! we already found out that the results of the autopsy were inconclusive.
He didn't die of pneumonia or natural causes. If he had, it would have shown up right away in the autopsy. The doctors already stated that. The only reason we are awaiting the toxicology reports is to find out what types of drugs were in his system when he died. If he had died of pneumonia, his lungs would have been completely filled with fluid and he would have died of respiratory arrest. That would have been evident in the first 24 hours.
What I think is unfortunate is that they aren't releasing to the public the time of his death. If he could have been saved within the time frame of those stupid phone calls to MK (Ass-H)Olsen, then she should be held accountable for his death. Why isn't she being questioned? And why is Hollywood trying to cover up his drug addiction (if that's what he really was suffering from?). And isn't it strange that so many high-profile celebs are suddenly checking into hospitals for "sleep disorders," "exhaustion," "personal issues"? I think it's finally sinking in for those in Hollywood that they need to clean up or else share the fate of a beloved and talented actor (may Heath Ledger Rest in Peace). Pity they won't let the rest of the world (and impressionable young people) in on the danger of drugs. I guess all the glitz and glory of Hollywood won't allow the rest of us in on the perils of too much fame, too much money, too many drugs…too little too late…..
As much as I am wanting to know what happened, part of me is wondering why is it any of our business. It's so personal. What gives us the right?

ummm, actually they did say they estimated he died around or before 1pm so by the time MK olsen got the calls, there was no hope.
I think celebrities are coming to his defence because he seemed like a really good guy and not a total douche. I bet they want the good parts of him to be remembered instead of the drug addictions, if he had them. Besides, he's one of the few truely talented young stars with a buttload of promise for a great future to pass away in the past few years. I'd think members of the hollywood elite would want that legacy to live on, not one of speculation.
and dude, celebrities have been checking into hospitals for "exhaustion" and "sleep issues" for years. the only reason why it wasn't suspected as addictions was because the stalkeratzzi weren't following them around to the same degree as they do today. research any old school celebrity, chances are they were treated for "exhaustion" at some point in their career. its not a new thing, its just being talked about more.

I'm guessing that he was like most of us non-celebrities…probably was having a hard time sleep and self medicated a bit too much. I have a hard time sleeping and take Restoril once in a while to help me sleep. Everyone at some point takes meds…
