Re: amber –
you need to get an education sweetheart, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about, if you don't live in the south then how can you be sure that all your accusations are true? you can't! mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters lost thier lives and all you can do is make fun of their home…you are a sad sad person my dear.
RE #201- Hey Mr. Brahman… I'll pray for you sweetheart. God loves you anyway.
It's OK sweetheart, God still loves you.
Re: Brahman – WOW! WAY TO BE OPEN MINDED THERE #201! BECAUSE I'M SURE THAT'S EXACTLY WHY THIS ALL HAPPENED! BECAUSE OF VOTING?? GIVE ME A BREAK! WHO'S THE ONE PASSING JUDGEMENT NOW?
Re: SARAH – ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH THIS? DO YOU SERIOUSLY LIVE IN ARKANSAS? PITIFUL…
Re: perezsisafag – AND CALI HAS NO SHITHOLES?? HA! PRETTY SURE I HAVE SEEN THEM! GOOD JOB THERE!
Re: Whitetrashsux – WHO ARE YOU TO SAY WHETHER PEOPLE DESERVE TO LIVE OR DIE? JUST BECAUSE OF WHERE SOMEONE LIVES? GIVE ME A BREAK.
I am sorry to hear the news of this devastation. I live in Georgia and all of my relatives live in MS and TN. I am also sorry that people stereotype the south. I guess you will never understand. I would like to point out that CALIFORNIA is one of the reasons that people buy into Global Warming. California also elected the worst actor in history as their governor, their celebrities play politicians, and they think buying a million dollar home is reasonable. I thank God that will never be me. Global warming is not real. Even if it were, it is sad to know that people think they can control the weather. Bush may be a bad president, but he can't control the weather. Wow, GUESS YOU ARE DUMBER THAN HIM NOW!
For the moronic comments stating that people who 'still live in tornado alley' deserve this? I'm just curious where the hell we could move to in this entire world where we would be free from the threat of natural disasters??? So people shouldn't live in the South West because of draught conditions and lack of water? Or California because of mudslides and earthquakes? Or anywhere basically anywhere on land where we may be subject to flash floods or get struck by lightning during a thunderstorm??? Etc… WTF???
And I can't BELIEVE that people think that some damned politician being down here is going to make things all better. And not that I'm a big fun, but please explain to me how the hell this can be blamed on Bush??? Are you f** kidding me? I am constantly amazed at the stupidity that surrounds us all…
Re: lila – Give me 100% proof that this was caused by global warming. Honestly, do you have a Ph.D. in meteorology or enviromently study? Or all you just another person that has been pulled into this b/c it's the current fad in Hollywood to "be green"? It's not that fucking serious that you have to blaim everybody in the country for what happened. What have you done to change the world??? Me? I've donated my time, my house, my money everytime this happens and during Katrina.
Re: RebeccaSuzanne – Re: clf – Yeah, Morliton got hit hard but could you believe what happened in Atkins? It was like the storm line was traveling down I-40 until it got to the river, I think that's what saved LR. I think that the storms in 96 were a lot worse than that, I remember that, I think it was more around 18 in our state. Not sure. Anyways, I agree with you, weather does go in cycles so who's to say that global warming isn't another one?
glade to know that Morilton is ok.
Being in Alabama… thanks for the prayers. It was one nasty night last night. My roof sprung a leak but thank God that was all that happened to me. Please keep us in your thoughts!! Love you Perez.
I live just outside Jackson and attend Union University. The campus was almost completely destroyed during the storms. Only 20% of the student housing is intact and every single building on campus was damaged to some extent except for the field house which is pretty far removed form the rest. Luckily I don't live on campus, but I have several friends that do. Thankfully, no students were killed, and only 9 were held overnight in the hospital. The campus is closed until atleast the 18th, by which time they hope to have some arrangement made for classes to continue. Currently all students are at their homes or are staying at professors' houses until they can get home. We are all thankful that the community stepped up to make sure that every student had some place to go. For more information, updates, pictures, and donation information you can check out Union's website at www.uu.edu or www.uuemergency.com. Please keep Union and the entire Jackson, TN community in your prayers, the damage is beyond words.
i live in germantown tn a suburb of memphis..to all u haters out there who said the southern states r full of hillbillies and trailertrash: u need a georgraphy lesson…i live in a 3 million dollar home and drive a range rover..what do u hv ? memphis is full of old money and filled w beautiful ppl..maybe u have never traveled before and u dont knw whats out there bt before post something about the south make sure u knw what ur talking bout u dumb mother f'ers…
Re: amber – you are a terrible person to say those kind of things about people who are suffering. how can you stereotype an entire geographic area…an area you've probably never visited? you are proof that america is going downhill. you need to look inward.
Amber -

ON DRUGS DEAD THIS WAS UNEXPECTED THEY DIDNT ASK FOR THIS AND YOU ASSHOLE WHO THINK ITS ALL POLITICAL ARE FUCKING RETARDS GO TO HELL !!!!!!
You forgot about Mississippi, we matter too.
For the record, I live in the Mid-South a few minutes from Southaven and Memphis. Amazingly all of the towns and cities around us were hit, but yet again the tornado missed Hernando. Though the winds knocked a tree over in my front yard. I didn't like Hickory Ridge; it was a shitty mall.
yup, we in ky were in the basement. Had a window blew out, major damage 12 mins to teh south and 30 mins to the north. We dodged a bullet. =)
My thoughts are to everyone else that was affected by this!
i live in arkansas and those storms completely DESTROYED atkins! there is so much damage, everyone needs prayers! sherwood barely missed it.
Re: perezsisafag –
what are you trying to say? "I'm from the Bay you punk rock beezies, 415 to be exact. Where I live, people are interesting, creative, and dont treat others who are different like shit because "we dont understand them". Fuck all u small town hicks…"
that very statement is prejudice by nature; i thought you don't judge people cause you're from cali.
i live in little rock, and my loft got fucked up from the strong winds. my windows shattered, and my appartment flooded. i guess i'm lucky that i wasn't hurt.
chances are you non-southerners have shopped at dillards, eaten tyson's chicken, drank coleman milk, saved at wal-mart, or talked on an alltel phone. do you not realize that these are all businesses founded in arkansas? you think we're all trailer trash? did you know that people from arkansas alone comprise seven percent of the top 100 forbe's richest people in the WORLD list?
get a clue.
Re: amber – Amber do you work? It's really sad that you have all this free time to criticize people based on where they live. My thoughts and prayers go out to the people who were affected by the tornados.
Re: Snarky – It's actually not that bad up north where blizzards hit. Blizzards hit where I live all the time, it's not a big deal, people make wayyy too much out of it, I saw a report last year about where I live where it is a state of emergency and all that and it made me laugh because it was just business as usual. So the north is pretty safe from wild weather, we had one earthquake in the last i think 8 or so years that was a tiny shake and thats it, I slept through it. So I think the North is the place to be if you want to be safe from disasters. But still, if you are going to live in tornado alley, you have to build your house strategically, and at a strategic spot where not many tornadoes touch down. And you probably shouldn't live in a mobile home there. I know, that many people can't afford not to, but if they are going to live in a mobile home, it shouldn't be in tornado alley.
My thoughts and condolences are with the families and friends of everyone affected by the tornadoes.
