The Energy Is Infectious

Robyn played her first show in America in years, Tuesday night in New York City, at a sold out concert at the Highline Ballroom.

Her album's not even out here yet, but the audience knew ALL the words to her songs. And they sang along to every tune!

Just watch this clip of her exquisite With Every Heartbeat from the gig. Her smile is huge. The crowd could not be any more into it.

Robyn plays this Saturday at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, and YOU KNOW Perez is gonna be there!

    Yes, He is energy and awesome! I lvoe his shows very much. I was told that his personal blog was found at a celeb singles website called (MillMatch dot com) or something just like that. But I don't think he has enough time for writing a blog on the internet. Maybe it's done by his fans.

    I was at this show, and it was AMAZING. As a fan from the early ninties, the highlight for me was the stripped down version of "Show Me Love" she sang during her encore. Great pop from a great singer. It's been awhile since we've had that Stateside.

    Hey Perez and loyal readers! I was at this show too and I must say it was absolutely AMAZING. Robyn said that it was almost 10 years to the day that her first album was released in the US and that this was her first time performing a concert in the US EVER! Robyn gave so much energy and the crowd did know every word to every song, although most songs were from her latest album that hasn't even been released in the US yet. (I bought the import a while ago though!) Robyn seemed SO happy and even a bit overwhelmed at the audiences crazy love and support for her. To me, it even looked like she was almost brought to tears a time or two.
    AMAZING show, AMAZING artist. The US still loves Robyn!!!!
