The two are there for the final burial of the deceased actor.

      You're right, I don't know Heath, but for some reason his death has affected me quite a bit. Of course I'm like that when anyone dies…whether I know them or not. Death is just so….final, and it's hard for me to wrap my mind around that.

      I'm very sad for Matilda though…she's the one growing up without a daddy.

      I’ve been thinking about why Heath’s death has had such an impact. I think there are artists who resonate deeply with the culture because they bring something out of themselves which is universal in experience. Amy Winehouse does it with her voice. Heath Ledger did it in his acting. With all the manufactured crap we’re exposed to in the media every day, we all respond deeply to someone who produces something authentic. I think Heath’s death is effecting so many because of the authenticity of his work.

I will never forget the comment he made about being so in love with the two ladies in his life. I can only dream of finding a man to say that about me and my daughter.       It's because it was unexpected. Like Lisa Lopez of TLC.
      That shocked and affected a LOT of people who only liked a couple of the band's singles years ago.
      It would have been like that if it was practically any other actor or actress at his level.
      The thing about Heath is that he seemed like such a good guy. Sensible. Not known for partying. It was completely out of the blue.
      He had a great smile. Most of the photos and video of him show him with a great beaming smile. That really affects people.
      If it was Jake Gyllenhaal it happened to I think it would be the same, actually I think it would be a lot worse as he seems to be bigger and liked more than Heath. (although Jake does seem kind of "dark" so it might not be as shocking)
      BUT, the fact that Heath had such a young baby girl seems to have a lot to do with how it's affecting people too.

      Keith Ledger's mind was obviously in "escape mode". A young healthy male is not in need of all the narcotics he was taking. His pressures and problems were self imposed. He lacked nothing except gratefulness and appreciation for all the opportunity and loving people in his life. Shame on you Keith.
