Wino Grilled by the PoPo

This is probably for the best.

Amy Winehouse's dream of singing at The Grammys this weekend could now be in even more jeopardy than before. Yes, that is possible!

London police visited the troubled songstress in rehab on Tuesday and quizzed her for TWO HOURS about smoking crack cocaine. Winehouse was caught on tape a few weeks ago smoking crack after taking cocaine, ecstasy and Valium.

U.S. officials still have not granted Wino a Visa because of a previous drug charge.

A source close to Winehouse goes on to say, "Being nominated for six awards is the one thing that motivated her to do rehab."

Well, that, and the fact that the PoPo were probably gonna arrest her if she didn't go to rehab! That still might happen!

    First of all, "singing at the Grammys" is not what she would do anyway. I think "incoherent moaning" is a better description. Second, if the Grammys give this no-talent junkie even one award, I am done with them for good. How can they continue to support someone like this when there are so many other talented musicians out there leading clean, healthy lives?

    While US officials will not doubt take her drug use into account in granting the visa, I don't think the police interview is in any way related. That's just part of an ongoing investigation started when the tape came out.

    I hope she gets a visa and goes, as long as it's with the provision that she's accompanied at all times by people who will keep her safe, AND as long as she speaks to the dangers of drug use (from HER heart, not because the law demands it), as part of her acceptance speech(es). The crowd would go crazy for that — especially after Heath's death!

    Whenever she has a sober moment and gets a really good make-up professional, then I'll be impressed. Those black wingy looking things on her eyes are just GROSS - Beyond GROSS.
