Osama Lutfi has hired a publicist so that people can find out the truth about him. Uh huh.
His new mouthpiece is a fella named Michael Sands, who up until this week - when he was fired - was the spokesperson for Kevin Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan.
Well, Sands held a press conference on behalf of Lutfi Thursday morning and he talked a lot of shit.
However, one of the most alarming things he said was the following:
"Sam has been providing prescription medication, cocktails is what its called for Britney's medical issues. Sometimes the medication really doesn't work and you have to change it and you see outrageous behavior displayed in public."
He should not have been giving her ANY cocktails, alcoholic or medicinal.
Britney Spears needs to be under the constant supervision of DOCTORS and trained medical professionals!
Thankfully, her parents have a restraining order against Lutfi.

Perez, I was wondering if you could find out more for your loyal fans what exactly were in these cocktails. I know that when medication is referred to as a cocktail as this was it usually has to do with HIV/AIDS. Do you think that Spears could possibly be HIV positive? It may be a stretch, but that's the only time I have ever heard of medicine being referred to as a cocktail.

Probably not a real good thing to admit in public.
This publicist is giving a very harmful message to the public by saying that anyone can just change up their prescribed cocktail of meds if they don't feel like its working. This type of thinking is what killed Heath Ledger and Anna Nicole. Patients need to take medications ONLY as prescribed… if they are not getting the desired effects, they should discuss it with their doctor. Psych meds usually take a while to take effect and dosages need to be tapered up or down VERY slowly.

Physicians that prescribe more than two weeks medication at a time…as a maximum to someone as severely compromised as Britney with substance abuse and mood disorder should be reported to their regulating body.
Legislation should be put into effect with regard to this. But guess what, the drug companies wouldn't like that….would they. Sales would be down… And what about being able to order these medications online?
