The actress is receiving treatment for her addictions at the Cirque Lodge in Utah, where Eva Mendes checked out of yesterday.
Drunkst reportedly broke down in tears when she checked in this week.

The situation has gone on for so long and has been so covered over with money and glitz that the true extent of the nightmare is still not known to the public. But it is well known to the victims and is becoming an agony for them, for their loved ones and for the people who must try to help them. Under the glamorous facade of Hollywood there is misery and sometimes death, and the great wealth that is available in show business only serves to prolong and hide it until it cannot be hidden any more. Compassion for the victims.

I don't know what her excuse is, but I know with a lot of actors, there is pressure to be ready to work and in character and doing your job even if you aren't feeling good or are injured. So even the "doctor" on the movie set can give you pills just to make sure you get through your scenes. That is how a lot of the addictions start with the pills. Actually pills are more dangerous then dope. I think that is what happened to Heath. He was sick and taking pills to get him through his scenes.
