Britney's parents are not happy about her release from the hospital on Wednesday.
They claim that the UCLA Medical Center let Spears go, even though the psychiatrist treating her wanted the fallen pop star to remain hospitalized.
Jamie & Lynne released the following statement late Wednesday evening.
"As parents of an adult child in the throws of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."

Hopefully Brit's parents can make sure she gets the help she needs.

I am starting to feel partially responsible for her imminent death in the near future because I have been one of those people for so long that gawks and keeps their ears perched to further invade her space.
There will be plenty of blood-thirsty media outlets to keep the public informed, unfortunately. Please be a true pioneer and allow Britney and her family to go through this privately. Perhaps you can start a spiral effect in the right direction if you stop reporting on her.

I can't even imagine how sick and upset her parents feel about this situation. The gold-digger, Adnan (driving around in his brand new fancy car) I'm sure is thrilled that she is out so money can be funneled to him. Even though she is sick, she is incredibly selfish and the world revolves around her. She doesn't care about her kids. If she did she would get much needed help. Instead all she cares about is putting people who don't care about her in charge of her money instead of her family. She is a waste! This is sad. Why would UCLA go against the wishes of her doctor? What kind of treatmend did Britney receive? How do we know if she got the help she needs? What does this say about our medical system? Is there anyone out there who can bring this issue to a close and get this family some help? Britney will loose everything if she doesn't get help. Why do I even care? It is just sad. She already is alienating herself from her two children. If Adnan has any integrity he will secure her trust in an honorable fashion. So what if he goes back on to one of the TV shows. Maybe he is doing this to call attention to the fact that the State of California appears to be failing this girl. Gov. Arnold needs to step in, reign in the paparazzi, and help put an end to this craziness before someone dies. Also, get the FBI involved. Find a reason to get this woman in a safe place away from the leeches. This is heartbreaking. Britney, you need to calm down. Get well and get an education.

this is a young, beautiful and talented woman that many of us have grown up with and we (I) really don't want it to result in another Hollyweird tragedy. Like so many others; marilyn monroe, anna nicole and most recently Heath Ledger. Of course their lives are exposed like a storybook and so many of the media moguls profit, even interactive media. at times when i peruse these gossip sites, I wonder what would any of them have to write about if it weren't for Britney. She accounts for almost 80% of their reporting, so she's not misconceiving when she sing "they want a piece of me," because they indeed all do. they would like to sensationalize her life until the tragic end, which be her untimely death. please allow this girl to have some peace and be a little responsible with your reporting of her. no one, not even celebrities should be subjected to this type of torment. just because we are fans and buy an occasional cd (or download tracks illegally) doesn't give us the right to know every damn detail of their lives. if you enjoy the music that you purchase, then that's actually all that we're entitled to. everything else is just a bonus.
