Actor Brad Renfro's death is being ruled an overdose as a result of too much heroin consumption.

Sad.

The cause of death was "acute heroin/morphine intoxication," and the drugs were injected, according to the coroner's office.

The death was ruled an accident.

Re: Trin – it's not that hard, actually. considering that heroin is cut differently depending on who's selling it, you never know exactly what you're getting. actually, not too long ago some rich white girls in NYC died along with some less note-worthy folks for doing too much heroin that was virtually uncut. because people get use to using drugs, often it takes more and more to get high. they may take too much thinking it's been cut when it hasn't and then they die.

Clearly he did not fit into the homicide, natural or even suicide. The coroner would have to see INTENT that the OD victim INTENDED to kill themself to rule it SUICIDE.

Angelina Jolie Announces That Her Next Movie Will Be...

Maleficent!

At least, we think it is! Almost positive, actually!

Angelina Jolie was at the Berlin International Film Festival today, where she is screening her directorial debut, In The Land Of Blood and Honey out of competition, when she announced that the long-rumored project was next up for her - even though she didn't specifically call it by name!

She explains:

"I haven't acted in two years, and I haven't done anything else since this . The next thing I am looking at is a Disney movie. The best thing to find that balance is to do something that is just for children. You know, you find different ways to make things matter. When, for example, you do fun action movies, they are empowering for my daughters."

And since we've gotten word that the Luc Besson movie she had been eyeing seems to have stalled, and Maleficent recently got Robert Stromberg as a director, we think it's safe to say that the Linda Woolverton-written adaptation of the classic fairy tale is definitely where we'll see her next!

So, so cool!
