    25. Amber says – reply to this

      25

How sad. People always talk about how kids in show business and even adults need some kind of manual about how to handle celebrity. Haim use to be huge as a teen and fell into the drug culture of celebrities - even celebrities now. We forgive those celebrities today, why can't we forget those celebrities of yesterday? I'd go see Corey again in a heartbeat!

      28

Corey, there are lots of ways to make a living at acting other than to be in Hollywood. Be an acting coach. Join a theater company. Do something else. And try to be sober and recover. You look like a douche.

    38. Sam says – reply to this

      38

If he is a jew then somebody will sign him and give him a break. That's all it takes in Hollywood.

    39. Starfire says – reply to this

      39

He's not looking so good. Gone are the days where he was the cute Corey and Corey Feldman was the funny Corey. Poor guy. He should have saved all the money from those Tiger Beat photo shoots.

    40. Hammer says – reply to this

      40

He's smart. Nothing more exiciting to bored , pathetic people than a movie star just out of rehab. Bet he'll have work within 2 weeks. It's what you dramatoids want in a person. The more broke, drugged, prescrpiton-addicted…the better

    41. elizabeth says – reply to this

      .
I feel so sorry for him though — cause you're right Perez — an act of desperation.

    46. Laury says – reply to this

      46

Awwwwwww I kinda feel bad for him. I mean, it probably cost him all he had to place that ad, it's kinda sad when you have to practically beg people to hire you.

    53. christine says – reply to this

      53

Hmm, wonder how much he paid to put that ad of himself in the magazine. Looks pretty desperate. If it took him decades to get clean what director in his right mind is going to employ him?? Good luck, Corey. Welcome to the real world.

    54. Will-Lynn says – reply to this

      54

I heard there was supposed to be a second season of that horrible show "The 2 Coreys". Guess reality tv don't pay that good

      57

he totally needs to be in a quentin tarentino movie. that could be his comeback. I like him-remember Lucas. I think he can really act. I hope someone takes him up and gives him a serious role, not something as a joke. Maybe he could play a druggie?

    58. KiKi says – reply to this

      58

I don't have the slightest clue who this dude is but this sure is the most desperate thing I've ever seen. He should just go to the nearest employment office.

    59. Velvet U---- says – reply to this

    63. Babs says – reply to this

      63

      Perez,
I am a little sad and ashamed for you. I thought you were the one that was always encouraging celebs to go into rehab. Well, maybe you didn't know it but "rehab" doesn't aways work the first time or the second or the fifth. But if someone is a recovering addict and wishes to makes amends, I think as a decent human being (and public) we should give them a shot. Sometimes, it takes a while "to get it right." Why not give hm the encouragement that he needs? What's right about calling someone who is clean and sober after a long (and public) battle with heroin a loser or hasbeen? When someone you love is battling a serious drug or alcohol problem and they finally see the light, it is the great thing. Re-think your hypocrisy of wanting people clean and then bashing them for being clean. You can't have it both ways.

      64

I used to have every inch of my entire bedroom pastered with Corey Haim posters…wow, did I just say that out loud?!!? He needs to land himself in some off-beat movie, like Travolta did in Pulp Fiction. Might work.

    65. Bluegirl_76 says – reply to this

      65

Good luck and best wishes to Corey, man.

    66. Kelly says – reply to this

    67. It may be sad . . . says – reply to this

      67

. . . but it also took guts. I hope he gets work out of it and rebuilds his career. He's an interesting actor and he deserves a chance to prove himself.

The great thing about Hollywood is that everyone is only one good performance away from a comeback. Do one good worthwhile thing and they love you again. He should consider doing independent movies for a while.

    80. KRKRKR says – reply to this

      80

I think it's a great idea. At least he's being honest. It's not like every other Hollywood actor wasn't totally desperate to get famous… he's just being upfront about it. All the others try and pretend they were just plucked from obscurity and they were lucky enough to be made into stars. That's utter bollocks as we all know… only the truly ambitious (well-connected/most aggressive/ruthless) will ever make it, he's just getting the 'selling' out in the open that's all. Nothing to be ashamed of!

    81. Amy says – reply to this

      81

Awwww….I used to have all his Teen Beat & Tiger Beat pictures on my wall. I had the biggest crush on him. I wish the best for him. I hope he doesn't have to go through life a tortured soul. Good Luck Corey!

    82. Eve 7 says – reply to this

      82

Think of all the chances Robert Downey Jr. was given. He was still on drugs and one time was so high he walked into a woman's house and passed out on her bed. But he got chance after chance. Cory should get the same and it did take some guts to do this.

Man, they really try to make him look like Matt Damon in this picture, don't they? This is BAD. Who ever thought this was a good idea needs to get there head checked. What actor would post an ad like this? His agent (if he has one) should be fired! I guess they figure with all the actors going in rehab, this would get him sympathy. Really, really lame.
